Why not postpone TH upgrade & ENJOY your fully Maxed base extensively?

I am TH7 and all of my defense, buildings, walls, units and spells are all fully upgraded.
I don't plan on upgrading to TH8 for several months.
I want to relax and enjoy my pimped out base for a long time.

Now I'm not saying others need to wait 6 months before leveling up to the next TH, but shouldn't we at least spend SOME time enjoying ourselves before moving on?

What's the rush? The game isn't going anywhere.

After initially leveling up to a higher TH we are all scrambling to farm and upgrade our defenses so that we're not easy pickings for resources.

But after everything is topped off, why not take a breath and play purely to have fun?

Waste 300K elixir on a dragon rush.
Build those 40 hogriders and let them go crazy!

max out your 200 limit army camps with level 4 wizards and donate to all your clan mates. they'll love you for it.

I'm planning on doing that once I'm maxed out as well but I do that even now. When all my builders are upgrading buildings & my Lab is also busy, I bring up different army compositions just to have fun & waste my elixir & DE. Even though upgrades at TH 8 aren't that cheap but they aren't that expensive either. It only takes a few hours to gather the resources for the next upgrade so I just love to do that & I'm sure many others do that as well.

it's ok to feel the "maxed base's greatness" but not for a long time.

also, depends on which trophy range you are at. if there isn't too much higher THs levels then it feels good... otherwise, you'll get flattened out everytime someone attacks you.

anyways, it's good to hear sometimes that other people don't rush their TH to max in an instant!

I felt the same way with a maxed out lvl eight, sitting on six mil gold with nothing to spend it on put a huge target on my back, there are always bigger fish to swim by and smash you....plus the attraction of those Xbows and AQ and those lvl six giants were to much in the end....so many new toys!!.....

Max EVERYTHING (including walls) and enjoy my time for a few weeks atleast, even try and push to masters. But you know the problem i faced - my gold storages were OVERFLOWING.
For about 2 weeks i put one of my gold storages in the corner with my th (that was not enough as well) but i realized my clan mates were right - i was wasting so much gold which could be spent on next th level. So i started my th upgrade.
I plan to enjoy again 'extensively' during th9 after maxing because those lvl 10 walls alone cost 3M/wall and enough time to max them all. It will be fun using mass dragons and expensive de troops during normal raids.

Rushing TH is very enjoyable and could be very relax too... as a rusher, I only rushed TH and offenses i need, the rest I am taking my time like maxer, maybe even more relax than them because i am not in rush to max my defenses or walls but I can raid & war those 6+ months old bases with my few months old account.

Well once you max everything and have nothing to use gold for, just put your gold storage next to your TH outside your walls. Easy shields. People will take your gold and maybe stop there without going for your DE.

Lower level players, lower TH players especially will take your gold and scram.

My DE has only been stolen 1 time (in 3 weeks), and just a fraction when he used 3 lightning spells.

I go on rampage to finish my skull war, farming like 6 hour per days. After finished with those walls, im back to lazy mode and raid just enough for upgrade. Its tiring to farm 6 hour per days for me so i take this moment to enjoy before i go to th9.

Well m a th9,90% defenses naxed out and here i am,upgrading traps and collectors. Why now? Because i did th rushing and had a real bad experience cuz of the heavy loot penalty.Imagine younare getting 300k at th7 from inactive, and same base 100k with th9.So,i will.wait now to max out everything before i proceed to th10.
