The RIP DJ Screw family of clans

Hey clashers,

We’re looking for a few active members willing to coordinate and contribute to war efforts. Currently, we have two clans, RIP DJ Screw and Rip DJ Screw II. Both clans are heavy farming clans, but we also do 2 wars every week. The first clan hovers around 25 higher-level members, and the second has 45-50 lower-level members. Below, I’ve outlined some details about the two clans. Feel free to ask me if you have questions, or drop by for a visit anytime Just let us know that Ibaad invited you in your request to join.

RIP DJ Screw
- Roughly 25 members. Late th7-th10. Ranging in levels from 65-105. We seem to do best in 25v25 wars. It’s also a lot easier to coordinate with fewer players.
- Heavily coordinated war attacks. It is strongly recommended that you join our chat group on the Line app to help plan each war attack and determine the best course of attack.
- We strive for 3 stars against each war base on the first attack. A 2 star attack means that someone else will have to go back and re-attack it (exception for mid-high th10’s.) If there is a failed attack, we expect you to watch the replay and learn from their mistakes when re-attacking.
- Understand that wars are not profitable. You’ll rarely recuperate the resources you spend. You’re expected to take a full, thought-out army, complete with spells, heroes, and a full cc of troops. Because of this reason, we only do 2 wars per week.
- 2 wars per week. The rest of the time is spent farming. We do prioritize upgrades that will help in war.

Requirements, Rules, and Expectations
- Level 2 dragons are a must. Also knowing how to use them. Common th7-th8 attack strategies include mass dragons and dragloon. (plenty of max level balloons available to take in your cc.)
- At least one of the following: Lvl 5+ archers or lvl 5+ BK. This means that we will accept you as a th7, as long as you have lvl 2 dragons AND a lvl5 BK.
- You must use both war attacks, every time. If you’re unable to attack in war, let a co-leader know, and you can go visit the sister clan and come back once war is declared. We can also kick you right before declaring and leave you an invite to return.
- Be mature, active, friendly, and drama free.
- We use the Line app for war coordination. It’s a great place to get accustomed to the clan and develop relationships with the leaders and other members. While it’s not mandatory that you join the group, it is heavily encouraged.
- Donate and request. There are no minimum requirements here, but if you’re failing to donate, then you’ll be warned once before you’re kicked. Fortunately, this has never been a problem. During farming, you’ll typically get lvl5-6 archers, lvl3-4 minions, and lvl5 wizards, however if you have a specific request, we’re generally able to accommodate it—it just won’t be as instant as archers. Most of us use BARCH or BAM to farm, so archers are always ready to go. Don’t donate goblins, giants, healers, wall breakers, or anything else unless explicitly requested.
- No rushed bases. You’re expected to have the max defenses for one town hall below you, and you should be actively working to max your current level.

War
- You must use both attacks. Period.
- We’ve won 23 wars so far.
- You must use some thought-out war attack strategy.
o Th7’s and early-mid th8’s use mass dragons or dragloon strategies, typically. With very centralized lvl6 air defenses, sometimes you’ll have to get more creative.
o Mid-late th8’s can use varieties of hog attacks. We have th9’s who can donate witches (soon to be max) and max balloons for varieties of Gowiwi, holo, and holowiwi army compositions.
o Th9’s will also have to adapt their strategy to the specific type of base, but we’ve been seeing some goho, gowiwi, holowiwi, and golo lately. Sometimes we encounter bases that you can just straight up hog also. Must be adaptive and creative.
- You’re expected to scout out a base and use an appropriate army (and spells) for that type of base. Request for specific cc troops that will complement your existing army and attack strategy. This could require some creativity, but we’re all here to help on the Line group chat.
- Be ready to give and receive criticism. We all improve every war, and that’s mostly due to our clanmates’ willingness to watch our replays and offer their advice. Even 3-star attacks have room for improvement. As an active member of our clan, we want you to participate in this process. This is another reason why having the Line app is heavily encouraged.
- No loot grabbing attacks. Your first attack must be a serious attack on somebody you have a good chance of 3-starring. Talk to the co leaders about whom you’re planning to attack and why/how you’ll 3 star them before attacking. If we’re up by a lot, then your second attack can be a practice attack. You can try out a new army composition or see how you fare against a more challenging base. Wait for a co-leader’s approval before doing that. We spend the majority of the time farming, so war is not a place to search for loot.
- You won’t be punished for a failed attack. The idea is that you learn from your mistakes (and the rest of our mistakes) to improve for next time. As long as you make a full attempt and it’s apparent you tried, there are no repercussions.

RIP DJ Screw II

RIP DJ Screw II was established to split the load away from the main clan. As our more serious players advanced, some of the other, less active players were having a hard time keeping up. Because of the advanced players, we kept matching against more difficult clans, and our loyal, competent, just slightly less active farmers got left behind. Creating this clan allowed them to continue at a slower pace. This clan also wars twice a week, and so far, they’re undefeated in war (10-0). There is a lot of movement between clans, and as players in RIP DJ Screw II refine their war strategies and meet the requirements for the main clan, they’re brought over permanently. There is no Line group for this clan, however we’re open to adding those who want to the main clan’s group. There will still be a lot of generally useful information there. We usually have between 45 and 50 members here. If you’ve got questions, drop by in game, or respond here.
