Pros:
- Centralized clan castle
- Spread-out X-bows, air defenses, mortars, wizard towers
Cons:
- Don't put buildings in corners
- Clumped defenses are vulnerable to freezing
- Bad funneling
The idea of making your base open isn't to lead the enemy troops into the base, but the opposite; you're forgetting that your traps don't substitute for walls.
I'm ranked 1 for war. Traps are meant for just that, traps, not trying to substitute them for walls. They were set up with the intention of taking out giants and hogs as they try to take out my defenses. In three wars only attack once by a #2, the got 1 star.
How would I improve the funneling?
