Best Anti-Dragon Defensive Setup? [Both attacker & defender are TH7]

* For this discussion please assume that the defender knows the attacker will use all dragons *

Is there any possible way for a fully upgraded TH7 to defend against a fully upgraded TH7 Dragon attack?
Is it simply impossible for th7 defense to prevent a 3 star from a fellow th7 player using all level 2 dragons with fully upgraded spells (for TH7)?

If it is indeed impossible, can we still please discuss some theories and techniques for defensive layout?

That is pretty hard, since your 2 lvl 5 air defenses are nothing compared to them. If you get lucky on archer towers or wizard towers, you can get a win. But for now, it's kinda hard to defend.

Against noob attackers? There's 15-20% you'll survive.

Against a TH7 that knows his stuff ? Impossible. They'll bring 3 lightnings to destroy 1 of your AD and your base will be rekt.

agree with post above, TH7 cannot effectively defend against lvl 2 dragons. fully upgraded TH7 should upgrade TH to 8 and place 3rd AD.

Nothing a th7 can do vs dragons, max ad and max telsa, whoopie! Zap 3x lightning and attack the other AD, done deal. Do not even need 11 dragons, I do it all the time with 5-6 dragons, rest balloons and balloons in CC. Never fails.

Also, Hogs wreck th7 with ease.

As a max th7, you are not worrying about defending, you enjoy raiding and getting loot. Definitely one of the best th levels for offensive looting.

Enjoy always getting 3 stars vs other th7 and some premie th8. Dragon level 2, 3x zap and either a hog or balloon AD snipe and you are on your way to 2-3 stars on TH8!!

In war, you help you clan with matchups, in my last war, 10v10 with 1 th7, 2 th10, 1 th9, 6 th8 we got matched with 2 th10, 1 th9, 1 th7, 1 th6, 5 th8! Woot!!

It is almost impossible, and your base would be extremely vulnerable to other attack strategies. But basically, centralize CC and both ADs. Spread out your base a ton. Cover ATs with storages, and it should give you a slightly higher chance of survival.

there is nothing you can do against a competent attacker, if you are facing an incompetent attacker still tough but spread your base far and wide, air defence far apart and shielded by high hit point storages externally and the town hall in the middle, with air bombs over town hall
they may run out of time, just hope they don't lightning your ad
