Post Lack of disciplinary actions is becoming a showstopper

    Hello,

In our clan we spent a lot of time creating statistics of donations, war attacks, war strategy following, etc. in order to filter out players who are not contributing. Then we spent a lot of time maintaining a blacklist (which is of course a half-measure, since names are not unique). It's been a lot of work for 50 people and eventually we got tired and chose not to take people in. So our 50-man clan is now down at 20. Chat is dead, people are less motivated to play.

It's very hard to find good people. And usually takes a lost war to filter out the inactive and the unskilled. There is no serious consequences now if hopping, leeching, being rude, inactive or simply a bad player. The whole game would change for the better if these consequences would exist.

Therefore, we need help with administration, please:
    1. Allow to review donation ratios for at least the last 3-5 trophy seasons.
    2. Add war cc donations to the ratio or display them separately.
    3. Allow to set expected clan donation ratio and set automatic disciplinary action (see later) if not fulfilled at end of season
    4. Allow to set clan wars attack expectations (0, 1, 2 attacks are compulsory) and set automatic disciplinary action if not fulfilled.

We need the following disciplinary actions, please. Leaders and co-leaders can initiate them manually or they can happen automatically as written above.
    1. Warning for a week/month (player is marked with an exclamation point in a yellow triangle). Can stack multiple warnings and they auto-expire.
    2. Donation block for a week/month (no one can give the player troops except for the war cc)
    3. Ban for a week/month/permanently. Can be initiate from chat window so hoppers/leechers already left can be banned, too.

I tried to micromanage my clan like this and lost about 20 members who donate in the thousands. They were all great attackers too (200+ war stars).

Just be a better leader. Win / Lose / Draw it's just a game and it's all about having fun and wrecking bases (which u don't do 90% of the time while farming).

Keep the chat active. Post replays, etc.

No need to discipline, just bench players for war (kicking and reinviting). Of course you do everything out of respect.

I suggest a FB page that people can join so you can actually see what people do on the other side of COC. Someone urged me to kick one of our high levelers because he didn't attack one war (we drawed). I pointed out the man is busy, has kids, and probably didn't have internet or something.

It's just a game, it's fun, keep upgrading, and wreck bases on war day.

Auto action is worthless, its pretty simple to take action yourself, and you would kick people who have a legitimate rason too, so not happening.
Ratios can be precieved as negative and have never been shown for anything, war win ratios and attack win ratios aren't shown for example.

Micromanaging doesn't work, you need to do a better job filtering people out. You should have realised there was a problem when you couldn't even be bothered to accept new members.

The consequences for bad actions can exist, if you were to do something about it.

Also if you were to ban someone from receiving donations or something im pretty sure they would just leave, so why not just kick them in the first place?

The game simply doesn't provide enough tools if you want to treat your clan members fairly. Even the chat list is short for a big clan. You cannot easily see donation statistics to give out promotions. You need to lose a war to find out who is inactive. And even if you kick someone, he can be back in a few weeks to ruin another war.

All this is unfair to the good players of a clan. I think we need some support from the developers to be better leaders.

totally agree with you, we need better tool to manage and run the clan, else it will die at some times, the current system is too ranked oriented and only top clans can survive in a long run. clan hopper, clan ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who was kicked and come back to ruin, and clan leecher are those who ruin the game.

but nsomlai, just stay strong if u still like this game, those noob n immature guys r just rubbish, i hope coc can improve the management tool soon or else more inactive high lvl will be discovered.
