Why I think that 90+% of the complaints about matchups are ♥♥

Seriously, we are so mismatched this time around. For us, we're on the losing side. We had 4 members leave right after the war started. We have guys who "had brothers steal their ipods and attack" the #1 base for 0 stars. We have guys at the bottom who can't even 1 star their lowest member because they have level 5 walls at their lowest, while our guys at the bottom still have level 1-3 walls.

It's not a myth that there are bad match-ups. This is our second bad matchup. Our last war was extremely awesome, we tied. It was a great war. It's what you hope for in wars. But this time around, we just got spanked.

I'm hoping we are on the winning end soon!

Nope not us. Just checked and they still have all their members. They are behind by 28 stars with 14 attacks still available in a 15v15. Of those attacks maybe one can garner a few stars. Poor suckers. We still have a few remaining blows to deal.

I will say they could have did better had they of known how to use the troops they do have. All wizard armies are not the way to go, and neither is 6 pekkas and three healers if youre not going to take out the castle dragon or get into the center to kill the air defense on that level 6 (yup) Townhall. Same with mass Giants. I sure hope they watch their replays and learn what they have did wrong. They still wouldn't have won, but they could have did better.

Yep, so many complaints say so and so clan has higher levels than us. Right there you know the complainer doesn't know what they are talking about.

If you look at the thread called 'Clan War Problem?' there is a guy asking what to do if a clan they think are much tougher than they are is not attacking and seems to have given up. Its funny, he is so sure they are superior and he doesn't know what to make of it.

You may need to re read the post! Didn't say anything about the other clan being superior, i said they had "great players". I have just never seen a clan not attack at all and was wondering about a problem with update. As far as a mismatch we have found that a lot of clans that look good on paper are just good farmers that do not attack very well.

My apologies, but also I WAS congratulating you on handling the matter (or what I thought it was) so well. Does this mean I have to take my kudos back?

90% of absolutely everything on forums are ♥♥. People starting flame wars, letting big egos out to try and impress people and of course like you say complaining about everything there is to complain about.

But, with that been said... the mm has been very bad since April in my experience. 4 of our last 7 wars have been absolutely terrible. Both ways as well as this war the other clan sadly doesn't have a chance to compete with us. I don't think they will even fill their CC and I don't blame them. The war before it was the other way around with us being outmatched by 8 IT to other nice TH10 bases, and even 3 more TH9 bases... in a 20vs20 lol

The same 3-4 people from CW forums (who belong to "elite" war clans) seem to enjoy coming on every post about bad matches and call the others noobs, tell them lv and TH don't matter and so forth... but guess what, many people who are on forums do know what they are talking about and bad matches ARE happening a lot, definitely a lot more than they should be.

We are the customers, SC should fix this. If people want to clash in mixed clans or 10vs10, 50vs50 etc then that is their choice and it should be catered for. Simple business.

We just had a war where our 1 TH10 and 10 TH9s and 4 TH8s played 3 TH10s and 12 TH9s. None of the opponents were rushed.


Happens to use all the time. A Max 8 can pull a strong 9 in MM, and a Maxed 9 can pull a strong 10 in MMing.

The reason for constant mismatches is not because of luck, but because of the insane differences in offense that a mid TH10 has compared to a Maxed TH9. While they are both relatively equal in Matchmaking, a 10 can 2*s 100% of the time, with a really strong chance for 3, while the same 9 attacking the 10 would be lucky to get 2*s.

We've considered not allowing our players to upgrade defenses, just pure offensive upgrades.
TH10s with max troops and heroes, but only lvl1 infernos, xbows, etc etc. Even lvl 1 infernos can stop nearly every th9 attack.

We are the customers, SC should fix this. If people want to clash in mixed clans or 10vs10, 50vs50 etc then that is their choice and it should be catered for. Simple business.

Please provide your suggestions to Supercell as to how they can do this while allowing clans to pick when they start a war search and still have searches find match within a reasonable time frame. Supercell has already catered to clan's desire to start a war when they want to. Their is only so many choice that can be catered to and still have a functional game.

My clan is a mixed clan, I have found that the matchmaking have been very good. We have won our wars by using sound strategies and teaching our members how to attack for stars, even when matched against clans with TH10s while we don't have any ourselves.

If you are saying you get mismatches both ways I believe you. Its the guys saying its always against them that I was calling out as liars.
