My story as prematured TH9 - Don't rush to TH9 !

My question is will i be sorry if i upgrade to TH9 now i meen it will take atleast 1,5 month to get that kind of amount if i stay at TH8.

There is plenty of loot at TH9. The problem is that at TH8 you get access to more loot at lower THs, when you upgrade this is gone. Upgrading for the the purposes of getting more defence is useless, since when you upgrade too fast you just become a better target for other TH9s and you probably can't, successfully, loot other TH9s, or you have trouble sustaining your builders. So, its not impossible to recover from a prematurly upgraded TH, its just recommended that you don't do it.

I have read a lot of threads saying dont lv up your TH to fast becouse there will be no gold and elixir.. But im wondering how can TH 9:ers build stuff if there is no gold and elixir to take? I my self is lv70 at TH8 with all troops maxed out except pekka is only 2stars. I have about 140 more walls to make lv8 at the small amount of 75millions. Mortar canons and wiztowers are maxed so i have still arctower tesslas and AD to upgrade at the cost of 20 millions.

My question is will i be sorry if i upgrade to TH9 now i meen it will take atleast 1,5 month to get that kind of amount if i stay at TH8. And my troops will be the same as now so do i "lose" that much if i upgrade now?

There will be gold and elixir to raid but it will be sigificantly lesser due to the loot penalty at its peak for that TH level. It will take a lot more searches to find 150k/150k and quite a number of suitable resource targets will be people of TH9, thus breaking in will be harder as their bases are more well defended.

TH9 is designed to be the hardest stage of the game and as such you will be spending a lot of time upgrading just upgrades available from that lvl. So its best to upgrade completely as it will take much lesser gathering the gold required now than at TH9.

I see the point of your answers.

Its better to stay 1,5 month and get 150-350 raids and be gone with all upgrades.

And dont have to upgrade all of that + all that is to be upgraded such as lab troops walls x-bows for example. So when u get to TH 9 u dont have "bagage" with u no u can focus on all new things to update. But i think that it will be hard then for example to get lv 6 gigants archers barbs first get elixir to lab then to all troops long time many raids

What you "lose" is the opportunity to raid TH7s for good loot and cheaper search costs.
If your teslas, ATs, and AD are one level away from maxing then you wont be hurting that much by upgrading to TH9.
However it sounds like you would benefit if you finished maxing all your defensive units and put up some more LVL 8 walls. It will be easier to get that 95 million gold at TH8.

Thanks for sharing your story.
I also keep telling my clan mates to be patient. So glad that quite a few of them heeded this.
Takes a lot of patience to max everything before upgrading TH but its worth it.

Some people in my old clan canceld their townhall upgrades when I told them to check out the forums.

I will finish my 225 skull walls today probably, but will stay TH 8 until everything is fully upgraded. My mortars and mage towers are done, but I still have some archer towers and tesla to do. So I'm staying TH 8 until the last minute.
