    Well its a strategy game and I suppose barch is too simple, it's not that they have anything against one-hit tier-one troops, it's that they want it to be a challenge to attack I would guess.

    adapt, chuck a few Giants in there 👍.

    As it seems with rest of update its making th9 and th10 better. I'm still pleased with the de drill and lvl 12 things so I suppose its a fair compromise, take the trophies give the loot.

    This is good! As a TH10, I get sick of TH8s coming up to high crystal and masters. Just one more camp to have to "next" past due to the loot penalty. Then they'll try to barch me and lose or zap my de and anger me, but revenge is pointless because of the loot penalty and no league bonus for revenge. So if they all drop down, that would be great!

    couldn't agree more....it's all about the money even though i've always thought barch was actually more skillful than a lot of other giant attacks etc....

    Well said here. People are too lazy and have no patience. If the loots in the storages and you dont have the army to get it then thats YOUR fault. Not SC for not having enough inactive bases out for grabs.

    Stopping the barch or arch attack at high levels was always very simple... It is called base design... A bases best defense is being either barchable or TH outside. Why? Because both attacks dont get your storages.

    There is no reason to turn archer towers into xbows. They have effectively ruined a reasonable pushing strategy that didnt rely on 2 hour cook time armies. Yes against lower bases it matters little. TH9 of any base or lower is beatable with any army so this is mostly felt by people who can push into champs and beyond.

    The archer towers attack far too fast. They destroy any non tank troop at incredible speeds. The witch is a good example, her skellies are mowed down. High teir troop nearly nullified by this poorly thought out change. Most troops are not at full health, this lets archer towers mow them all down TWICE as fast...

    Terrible terrible change. This is coming from a maxed TH10 base whose defenses will benefit. Oh wait... There is no benefit for winning on defense except repair bills and lost loot and useless trophies.... I like attacking bases. Sorry.

    It's not the gems. Supercell would make more money if more people boosted barracks and barched (i boost daily)

    you sound like the th10s in my clan! Trophies will become the ultimate defense weapon against de zapping so in a way sc have solved it. More De for th8 and 7 who do it mist but harder to come lvl with higher trophy th10s

    I think a 1.5x speed would have sufficently reduced barch usefullness at high push but stopped witch skeletons being destroyed. I think they have stopped De Zapping probably but weakened the strategy for getting it in the first place.
