Once upon a time ( about 3 months ago ) walls were a status symbol showing dedication to farming. Then they let everyone get em. Now they have returned to the way they should be. Kinda.

perhaps now instead of riding shields, cheap raiding and dumping elixir into walls you can go put and raid some proper bases with a decent army.

This is getting a bit tiresome. Before the last update walls could not be upgraded with elixir at any level. Why is it all of a sudden such a huge issue that they dialed it back to only 8+ walls that can?

Worst case scenario, you upgrade all elixir upgrades and then go to TH9 without grinding your skulls. Also not THAT big of a deal. Loot at TH9 is fine.

Bam. Spot on. SO many people (including myself) farmed just gold for full skulls. It isn't that much of a grind! Not with TH8 loot anyway!
