Give us back the upgrade of the walls!!!

I spend maybe 3-6 minutes "Nexting" but in that time my troops are
cooked again and I raid again. I play for 2-3 hours a day (multitasking)

I don't understand the people that "farm" with dragons...
you are digging your own grave... you use more resources then you gain.

I use barbarians and archers, at 1500 trophies.
The people who farm with PE.K.K.A.S. at 1000 trophies give me a good laugh when I view their replays.

I wonder if I should just switch to more fun strategies than barbarians and archers, though, since I have hours to train each army, currently ( due to homework and other video games).

Easy to avoid, play clash while u do homework LOL at least that's what I do.
Heck, you can probably even play clash of clans while
u play other video games (Depending on the game)
Cause clash of clans isn't something you have to sit down and play for hours lol

But we are getting so sidetracked.

I got on to the forums today to complain about this new update lol

Everything is fine but the walls are killing me. I'm maxed on elixir
with nothing to upgrade with it...

That's a waste of time and elixir. Farming with barbarians,
archers, and minions is the most time/elixir efficient.

Every time I get raided I lose about 150k gold, because I have TH9
people raiding be back to back because I'm capped on elixir.

And it takes about 50-100k elixir to cook troops.

Please put some thought into posting, I don't like arguing with little kids.

had you read the post i was responding to, you might have understood.

the post to which i was responding was complaining that he had nothing to spend his elixir on and asked not to be reminded of troop upgrading as his trap rearming cost offset this.

i was pointing out that to upgrade to pekka 2, cost 3 million elixir.
the cost to rearm traps, is on average, maybe at most 20k
sometimes more, sometimes less

how about you understand the context of a discussion before you attempt to make attempt to belittle?

edit, it would seem that you have taken an interest in responding to nearly every post with the attempt to hold yourself up and look down upon those you respond to. get over yourself.

3 million elixir can be earned in one day easy,
It takes like what 10 days to upgrade it?
I can max my elixir storage 7 times in 10 days

doubtful, but possible
i will grant that, but making other people look foolish is not how to go
belittling other people does not make your case stronger

This argument's plain pathetic...... things change . Your grandparents lived their life without a computer, wonder how you'd do if someone took it away. Native americans would travel miles without a car, so if someone took away your car and made you walk the beaten road for a soda you shouldn't mind.

I see the point of the update, and honestly I haven't used the elixir wall update much myself (one or two walls tops). So those that're whining about never being able to upgrade walls, even with limited raiding it isn't that bad. Getting in a good league and doing even 1-3 barch raids a day will easily finance builders and the occasional wall. Especially with the ability to put some builders to work for 5 days with only 300k resource for those busy during the week with the new collector upgrades.

And on the other side as well, elixir really wasn't that scarce pre-update either. Sure it wasn't great, but what with the large numbers of players saving up for lab upgrades it wasn't that hard to find elixir.

The main issue seems to be that SC abruptly removed the ability to upgrade walls lvl 6 and 7 with elixir. They introduced it, then a month later, with no warning, removed the ability claiming it'd help balance the economy. It seems to just be the idea that SC introduced a very helpful to some feature, then took it away that's caused all the frustration from this update, and while it hasn't really affected me I can see why others that depended on the update for wall upgrades are upset.

A decent compromise, imo, would be to bring back the elixir walls for a week to a month to allow some of these upset players to upgrade the walls, and then remove it. Lower players then see it as an event, like a 1 gem boost, and while they may be sad to see it go wouldn't be upset as such, and players that have seen loot improvements recently will have to deal with the loot for a small period of time before everything went back to normal.
