i understand how the previous way made elixir less available, but since gold is used for at least 70% or things doesnt that make gold even more unavailable? by taking this feature away, gold is even rarer and elixir just piles up with almost nothing to do.
Hey look at that, you do have some sense. You actually found a legit problem in there... namely TH9s potentially dropping trophies to farm TH8s. But, here's where your argument falls apart... This update doesn't change that. As a TH8, I was raided almost exclusively by TH9s. Even a few 10s here and there while I was saving up for my level 2 golem.
And I suppose the warnings tossed out by higher level players a few months ago mean nothing? The problem is you care only about yourself. You want the game to bend to your will. You have ZERO concern for the community as whole. Just numero uno. Even if you do raid for that much DE, do you really think that's the case for the majority of TH8 players? Not even close. So even if it doesn't benefit you, it benefits about 95% of TH8s.

Yes, I have 200k of gold and 1600 of elixir.
No lab, no barracks all is full and working and I just can't play, thus I writing to this forum....

They NEED to put it back how it was. It is ridiculous that they took away elixir for wall upgrades. Why would add that feature and then take it away. At least make it for lvl 6 or lvl 7 walls or TH 8 and below can not use elixir to upgrade walls. THEY NEED TO PUT IT BACK!!!!
How does this benefit 95% of TH8's? Sure the extra drill helps but the benefit overall is negligible So I'm going to go on an all day raid session to spend 6million of my hard raided gold only to leave 5-6million elixir up for grabs. Any person that farms and is smart raids for what they need for upgrades. Why have a surplus of resources up for grabs by random people. Sure that may be greedy but the point of the dam game is to protect what you make. Not farm hard so someone can come steal 400k of that in one hit. Everyone may play differently, but we need to be able to utilize the hard earned resources. Not just leave it up for grabs for other town halls that wanna build 400k armies and WORSE YET USE OUR ELIXIR FOR THEIR WALLS.
Why do you have such a hard on for my base? I'm mid TH8 with all lvl 7 walls. What does my base have to do with anything?
And if everyone played that way, where would you expect to raid yourself smart guy? No one would have available loot so no one is able to raid. And now you're at least admitting your selfish motives. Plus, not everyone can afford to play 10 hours a day. It takes days to save up for some upgrades.... unless you plan on raiding for 7M gold or elixir at a time when you reach TH9.
Essentially you think this is a terrible idea because people would be able to raid stuff from you??
And I couldn't care less about your base. Show your profile. If you're going to make a bold claim like being able to raid 20k DE in a few hours, then you better be able to back it up if you plan on saying how great at it you are.
I don't have to prove anything to you. I farmed my barb king 5 upgrade in one day so tell me it's impossible. Dude I get raided all of the time I don't care about that. Just why have an amazing amount of a particular resource that you can not do anything with but stare at and make troops and spells? I don't think you understand the point. If I want to raid ALL day on a saturday that I'm bored, why not be able to spend half the resources I gained on something important? That's my point and sorry you don't understand. And how balanced is the game if elixir is essentially useless at TH8 but suddenly just SO important at TH9? Hmm
Not saying you don't have the right to raid all day. But your bigger issue seems to be the fact that you don't want your loot stolen. You keep on speaking of a balanced economy, but you obviously have ZERO clue what an economy even is. There is no economy if everyone just hoards their loot. It crashes because then you won't be able to raid for it yourself because... you guessed it!! Everyone else has hoarded it!! The point is to earn more than you lose, not to protect everything and then just take from others.
So to sum up your complaint. You want it expanded to fit your needs and the hell with everyone else.
