What is this "connecting" somewhere icon?

Excuse me!? running to your house in the middle of a raid is an important gameplay change.

That icon is there to show you that you lost connection to the server for a few seconds. If after this period you manage to reconnect, then your gameplay will carry on as usual but if the game fails to establish connection, you'll see the good old "connection lost" popup.
It's basically here to prevent you from making important actions that will not be saved due to the internet drop

True but if you see this icon it gives you some time to try to tackle the problem, for instance run back inside the house where the connection is strong enough and you can continue your attack

That is true, I've lost so many attacks because I was thinking its connected during an attack but not knowing I've lost connection...

Basically if you see this icon occurring best to not start a raid or a clan war attack, and do it when you get a better connection.

If you see the icon, you better go somewhere with a good connection, otherwise you'll get disconnected...

It happened to me in the past when I was doing a clan war attack. I did my attack on my iphone on a poor connection, it finally lost connection which ended up a failed Clan war attack. The connection lost midway in my attack but on the reply it just should be deploying 2 golems and that's it...
