That icon is there to show you that you lost connection to the server for a few seconds. If after this period you manage to reconnect, then your gameplay will carry on as usual but if the game fails to establish connection, you'll see the good old "connection lost" popup.
It's basically here to prevent you from making important actions that will not be saved due to the internet drop

True but if you see this icon it gives you some time to try to tackle the problem, for instance run back inside the house where the connection is strong enough and you can continue your attack

Sweet. How come they don't write this in the release notes? There always seems to be one or 2 SC doesn't even mention.

Example: few updates back, when u search through your revenge list, if you didn't like the base to revenge and hit end battle before any troops deployed, you would be brought to that same spot on the list. Before it would reset to the top...

i am am sure i missed a few over time even though I always read the notes.
