I was super excited to go to TH9. I capped all my storages, collectors and clan castle loot. I tried my best to spend it all with 5 builders. so much left over!
I'm only a few months into TH9 myself, so though I've settled into this TH level pretty well, the upgrade is still pretty fresh in my mind especially after watching this video.
What you did is pretty much how I entered TH9. I had max storages and even loot in the CC. I mostly bought an Xbow and Queen right off. Then I bought up all the quick items- all the instant stuff like walls and bombs, then any quick additions like archer tower and new storages. Then I started upgrading those until they got into the 6 hour or so point... then I got the higher costing items like new tesla and wiz tower.

This is a long way of saying thanks for posting this... brought back a lot of good memories.
