TH9 or TH10? Which is better?

Dear everyone,
Quite alot of people stayed as TH9 and upgraded everything (even walls to lvl 9-10) before going to TH10, because they could get easier loot as there was less penalty against some lower THs.
This was before when there were only lvl 6 troops and TH10 didnt offer that much of a change except for great Inferno Towers.
These days I am wondering whether to stay TH9 and upgrade everything (defenses, walls, etc) or move to TH10 as there are lvl 7 archers and barbarians already ingame and lvl 7 giants are soon to come.
What do you guys think? Lootwise.
I think that because of new lvl 7 troops people will move to TH10 so there will be more loot than to stay TH9 but that is just my opinion...

well i'm a th8 but once i get to th9 i will max the entire base but only get to all level 9 walls

You pointed out the loot difference between the TH levels.
Then promptly ignore that and ask if new troops with a slight improvement in stats make the change worth it... what?

In all seriousness, stay at TH9 as long as you can, it makes the TH10 road so much smoother

Raiding TH 8/9's with level 6 troops still looks easier than raiding TH 9/10's with level 7 troops.

It's a bit of a myth that there is no loot at TH10. There are plenty of weak TH10s for you to feed on, but just make sure that you're not one of them

I'd say max all defenses and get your walls to at least all black and you will be fine. It's worth going up for the extra DE and spells (if you're a war player).

I upgraded all my defences before moving to TH10.
I wish I had done my walls to level 9. As I now hate skulls lol
And I barely use barch so that wouldn't have been an incentive for me to hit that upgrade button....

Best option and wat i did on my first account and am doing on my 2nd accoint max out Th9. I didnt do lvl 9 or 10 walls on 1st, took a lot of effort lot of effort , now working on lvl 11 walls, but on my 2nd account its maxed th9 working on lvl 10. It is much much easier at townhall 9 than th 10.

You lose the ability to raid th8s which is a big deal. Slightly improved farming troops can hardly compensate that imo.

I just came to TH10 2 days ago...before that i was a Lv118 maxed out TH9 except for heroes and walls
I had lv15 king and lv14 queen and all Lv8 walls...

I would say maing TH9 is the fundamental for Th10...going to TH10 without good def and troops is hard to survive...not forgetting you will be matched harder opponent in normal farming and clan war....so better to stay in TH9 until you have maxed all your offence buildings...
