Exactly, you are spot on, no elixir wall upgrades helps the elixir shortage a lot.
Nah... I'd bet most of the ones complaining they can't use elixir on walls anymore are the TH7-TH8s that didn't have loot problems before but were causing the loot problems for everyone else by dumping so much elixir into their low-level walls.

I think it's awful. The walls were a nice update to help finish th8 and because I did all of my buildings and troops first I didn't get to take advantage of the 500k elixir skull walls.
The lvl 7 giants will also break the game. Level 6 giants are already OP, no th8 can defend against anything with lvl 6 giants. I think you need some kind of penalty to loot lost if a th 9 or th10 attacks a th8 or lower. Th8 is just a sit there and get wiped stage in the game that makes people not want to play.
The good mine updates and elixir collectors is a nice update.
Great update, but I really hope you can fix "sandbox attack" for clan wars to make clan wars more enjoyable in the competitive aspect.
I would also like to point out it's very difficult for players to provide evidences as many players do not play on devices that can record videos. Even if they could, it may be hard to tell from actual rule breaking or coincidences. Please hire more professionals to solve this issue.
Besides that, I like everything about the update and I hope you can keep up with good work!

I love the update it was great with a lot of interesting and great ideas, but I do not like how you cannot use elixir for walls until they're level 8. I am a town hall 8 with nothing to use elixir on besides this new dark elixir drill and research. You need 112,500,00 gold to upgrade all walls from 7 to 8? I'd have to stay at town hall 8 just to upgrade walls for months. And of course any th9 or th10s will agree with this update because they be stealing 300k elixir from each th8 they face to upgrade their walls. I think you should at least change the update to level 7 walls and above instead of the previous level 6 and above. Besides this one thing the update was amazing. I love my Christmas tree and base editor.
I am very disappointed with the walls update. I really do think that we should be able to upgrade them to level 8 at least. If u say that there wasn't enough elixir, that's a bullsh*t because everyone used to upgrade walls with spare of elixir. If I have to upgrade my balloons to lv6, I will farm elixir without even thinking about walls. You upgrade walls when you are at 700k and u get down to 200k, but no one will attack you in both case.
During last few months I have been upgrading Level 6 Giant, Level 6 Balloons, and two Dark elixir drills from level 4 to 6.
Except for that I really liked that update, maybe that level 12 collectors should produce at least 4000/Hr because I won't update something that takes more than two months to pay off.
