Best part of update was elixir/walls change. I would have gone even one level higher. Not selfish thingy, i'm doing lvl 9 walls myself and all elixir updated done in my th9 career. Maybe we can start use some other armies than barch now, its getting old.
Worst part of update was bugs. There is many of them. Some just annoying, but xbow problem is frustating. And my x-mas tree came with one present, that all i have seen. Something weird with jump spell, doesn't feel troops act same way.
We gonna have offers for gems these days?

I'd like a toggle that we can choose how much snow we get. I'd like to see MORE snow lol. Also, some wind noise would be nice too. I dunno, just makes it more "festive" for me lol.
I have a tree, my wife has two! I don't want her to have more trees than me. She changed her gamecenter password so that I can't log on hers and cut her trees down lol.
Love
1. All economy boosts (DE and Elixir are really nice, gold should be decent)
2. Layout editor. Pretty awesome. Especially the copy feature and being able to edit war base anytime. Works well.

Hate
1. Gold mines are distracting because gold (color) does not match with any other gold on map.
2. Troop level indicators. So distracting and just ugly. Gets confused with # of troops and blocks number altogether in war donation screen.
3. Barch nerf. Just don't understand why in a previous update, you buff th10 barch by adding new level then in next update nerf arch extensively for everyone else. Unless youre in M1 or higher....the only real way to take advantage of league bonus is barch....a th9 loonion army with no spells costs 108k elixir. A win in M3 barely nets you any profit when all is said and done. If you are going to nerf the most efficient army....fine...if you also make it make more sense to use a more expensive army. I think another buff is needed for the league bonus.
Meh
1. Snow. The white on buildings looks kinda lazy. Last years was better. Falling snow is meh. Don't feel stromgly about it either way.
2. Giants 7. I'm th9.....not looking forward to being attacked by them but not really a huge worry.
3. Live attack "replay". Probably belongs in the "like" section but there is no like section. Much better than staring at numbers counting down but when you compare it to things the clash community would rather have (Clan war opt out)....it ends up in the land of meh.

2.) I also like these. They are much better for lvl5 or 6 then counting the stars.
3.) They boosted barch but made it more expensive which was correct. Then they increased league bonus which was also good to compensate for dry loot at crystal and above. I love farming at crystal 3 because 100K each is now enough, but you should not get 100K each with barch by attacking army camps to get 50% and only this was nerfed. League bonus is for winning good fights with good troops and not for barching.
4.) Dont care about snow because it will go away anyway.
5.) I love giants lvl7. th10 gets far to few good troops. There must be something done to fix loot for them and giants lvl7 are an important step. Keep in mind that you will also be th10 one day ;-)
6.) I really like live attacks because you also get the message "village under attack" when the fight begins and can watch directly. I think this is really nice.
In my opinion all of the changes were good and make the game better but there are still some things to improve. My biggest 2 points are:
1.) Loot still gets dry above 2000 trophies which is a problem for th10 especially those who rushed their bases. New mine levels will not fix this. A fix would be to reduce average shield times at higher levels to provide more targets and reduce nexting. It is not so much about the amount of loot but more the high count of nexting which is the problem.
2.) Heroes should be available for attacks during upgrade the same way as troops are available if you upgrade them in the lab. Also I think hero regeneration time should not increase so much if you upgrade them.
