Huge mistake!
For the 2014 Christmas update, they are making the ability to upgrade walls with elixir move up to level 9 walls and up! How ridiculous! Supercell is just a greedy bunch that wants impatient people to spend their money on gems... If you are going to move it up, at least have the minimum at level 8. Also I'm quitting because for sure this update is going to ruin the game.

How would this update ruin the game? It going back to what it was, basically, before the update with Elix walls You have been here since before the Update that started it all, judging from when you joined the Forums. So you should have to know what its like to upgrade with only Gold.

Seems like a town hall 8 mad about the walls.......
I'm a town hall 8, but at least I had the chance to finish about a hundred level 8 walls! It's not that big of a deal....Just move on.
Im definitely dissapointed about the update because elixir becomes very useless for a LONG time when you're maxing out th8/9 and I loved that you could spend all the elixir on walls so it actually has a use. And now, elixir is going to be once again practically useless 1/4 the way through maxing out th8/9. Not a big fan of this change.
I'd rather have a useless excess than a necessary shortage

BUT i couldn't agree more even if i'm only a 90s kid.
Btw the majority of all the 9+ walls out there never spent an elixir on a wall, they never cried about it or maybe they did but yah still.
I'm also quite sad about it but i don't like the way you put it out there.

Just bcos u have lvl 7 walls and want the update to suite ur personal needs doesn't mean its going to ruin the game. I upgraded all lvl 10 walls with gold. Before this update came out where u couldn't use elixir. Stop making unnecessary fuss. Enjoy the game. They r doing a wonderful job with this game and making it more more better with each update.
