Thread: Will you be affected by faster Archer Towers?

    This also. Thanks for highlighting it out. Witches skeletons will suffer as archer only needs 2 seconds to kill 4 skeles... So could see more GoWiPe alone over Gowiwi/Gowipe in clan wars... but eventually people will adapt after the short term period passes through. As for now there will be a lot of complaints... but meh, I'll just adapt and move on.

    I will not be affected. Every update theres a bunch of people who are like oh no im doomed or whats gonna happen to my army comp. Or no more loots for me!!!!

    As for me i just update my game and my army and loot stay the same. No change for me. My skills are just to get in this game. Every new update and change only makes me stronger.

    Everyone will be affected, no matter the townhall level you are at. It doesn't matter how "skilled" you think you are, this has nothing to do with that. Also, every update doesn't make you stronger, it makes you adapt to it like everyone will eventually.

    Where are you guys raiding that you're hitting all these bases that haven't built their mortars/wiz towers yet? B/c I can assure you that the increased rate of fire/rate of re-engaging from archer towers will affect every attacker who goes up against splash damage defenses (including those little bombs). So unless you guys are hitting TH1s, 2s, and some 3s, you will all be affected. Whether you have lvl 7 archers going up against lvl 13 ATs is just one single scenario in a very complicated, multi-variable chain reaction that this will have for all players involved.

    nah im telling you peeps. Im gonna use a comparison you can understand on why the updates never phase me and i dont even loose a step.

    im like neo fighting agents in the matrix i beat those. next matrix reloaded comes out im neo in that to. the matrix has upgraded agents now but the outcome is still the same i beat em down. Supercell gonna have to come out with some agent smith level changes to even phase me. them archer towers gonna need to be able to multiply into 10 archer towers.

    Of course you will be affected.

    Right now, in some scenarios, ATs will kill 1 troop per second.

    With the new ATs, you will lose 2 troops per second in those same scenarios. This will obviously have an effect.

    I didn't realize barch was still over powered after the addition of the fourth mortar? I am not complaining but I wish supercell would explain to us what problem the are trying to solve. Can we assume by this change it is their opinion barch is still currently over powered? I am sitting here thinking how much I have to suck at the game to think the opposite. Then again I don't 3 star even using upgraded gowipe so I do realize I suck at clash.. What will happen to those of us barely able to attack now? I guess I can go back down to silver 2 and pick on premies.. It just sucks because TH10 already smash me with lev6 Giants and lev7 barch and I am not a rusher, they just have skill. Now TH10 will take less skill and TH9 takes more.. Which is important for those of us at a deficit!

    Ah well I am sure it will be fun still one way or another since I never could compete to begin with..

    1.)
    Wizard Towers lvl7 one shot all archers
    Mortars lvl7 one shot all archers, lvl6 will one shot lvl6 archers

    So if you fight against maxed th9s (not even talking about maxed th10s) your Units will be killed by one shot of splash damage anyway. One mionions survive the wizard Towers.

    2.) What we do not know yet is what happens at higher ranges (which is the most common Situation) when the second arrow is already in the air if the first one kills the target. At the Moment archers Towers have an additional delay of 0.5 seconds to Switch Targets. So what happens if a the 1st arrow kills and the 2ndhits the already dead target. Is the 3rd launched 1 second after the 2nd (0.5 seconds reload time + 0.5 seconds retargeting time) or is it shot 1 second after the 1st arrow and 0.5 seconds after the 2nd arrow. Maybe it will end up in a big archer Tower nerf against archers because in most combinations the archers will Need 2 shots to be killed now instead of 1.

    Also I think this will target more the lavapups (which also get 1 shot now) as will as barbarians at the same th Level (barching in master will not be so easy any more), minions (most of them get 3 shots from lvl9 to 11) as well as Skeletons against lvl13 archer Towers (after gowipe nerf with Skeleton traps Comes to gowiwi nerf).
