    Question Will you be affected by faster Archer Towers?

    I haven't quite understood the meaning behind increasing the archer towers speed and cutting the hit.points in half. This change does not make a improvement, just you can see archer towers shooting faster with half dps. How would that affect anything at all?

    Everyone will be affected. People who use tanks will be affected but to a lesser extent. People who use tier one troops will be affected more, but people who try to barch maxed bases are doomed as archers will die twice as fast there.

    For example, an archer tower has 88 attack, attacks archer which has 44 HP, it will kill it in single attack

    after update, the archer tower has 44 attack, attack archer which has 44 HP, it will kill it in single attack, but with double speed since the damage is only 44 instead of 88.

    and it will affect me much since i always use BAM to attack T_T

    This will affect barching especially when one hit (with half power at double speed) will still kill archers. Lots of smart people did the math on YouTube and in the forums. Definitely a disadvantage to barch users.

    Plus this MAY affect loons. If a loon is taken out a half second before it makes it to the archer tower...loon raids like holowiwi, may need to be tweaked. The smallest changes can make a big difference between 2 and 3 stars.

    It effects barching on maxed bases as the lvl13 archer tower and lvl7 archer will die at this pace but im not sure about lower levels i think this change was to hurt barching maxed bases

    I don't think it will matter much, max archers will only die against a base with lv 13 archer towers in one shot. I don't raid many bases with lv 13 archer towers.

    I've been using barb archer minion in and out. Personally the archers will suffer more especially since I tend to raid in the upper leagues [Level 13 archers tower are DEVASTATING to all archer levels pretty much... incl level 7] as below:

    OLD:
    Lv13 Arc Tower.
    Atk/second - 1
    DPS 98
    DPH 98

    NEW:
    Lv13 Arc Tower.
    Atk/second - 2
    DPS 98 [Same]
    DPH 49


    Now:
    archer level 7:
    48 HP

    Pretty much that means, barch max lv7 will still be viable to a certain extent providing the base isn't maxed [esp archer towers]. But at champions league, all archers might become tougher and halfway through obsolete. These are just my thoughts, but I can see all archers being halted soon to push way high up...

    This could mean, more raiding with barch/bam at lower level leagues [2000-2600 ish and lower] if you want more chance of seeing a lower level Arc Tower for your barch. Otherwise, another solution is bring more barbs and less archers.

    What many of players seem to overlook is the fact that there are more defenses! When your barbs get hit by a mortar and are near death they will be killed just as fast as a lvl7 archer vs lvl13 AT. Don't forget wizzard towers and cannons. Even skeletons will suffer greatly with this change as they will be getting 1 shotted too. I guess we'll see in a few days.
