First of all, who says that they're calm about it? Do you really expect them to show public outrage?

Of course I did not expect them to come out with pitchforks, I meant as in they didn't really put an effort into removing the picture to keep some people in suspense. And under the circumstances of my other thread being taken out it seemed that posting another thread about the same topic would, that's right, be moved as well, ban was a loose term. How ever I do tend to put myself on a pedestal from time to time, I'm from California

No, they did remove it but that made it obvious so they brought it back and merged it

1) SC intentionally leaked the release notes to gauge player reaction
2) Some (disgruntled / half awake / overworked / drunk / not giving a damn) employee decided - Oh what the heck! So be it.
3) SC office:

Marketing head: *Finds the leaked notes. Calls up a meeting of community managers*
Marketing head: "So who was the wise guy who decided to leak this?"
CM1: "Not me. Was deleting threads for fun."
CM2: "Not me. Was busy administering temp bans."
CM3: "Was merging threads. Hey! CM1, switch with me next time."
Marketing head: "So it was not you guys?"
All CM's in unision: "Nope!"
Marketing Head: "What about those volunteer forums moderators and youtubers?"
