Elixir on walls restriction update .. How?

I just don't get how restricting the elixir on lvl 9 walls will stop the leake .

Anyone can upgrade one brick to lvl 9 then dump all excess elix on it .. no ?

All the TH8's and below will now have more elixir so the Th10's will kill us more often

No, just th 9s and above.

Yes i meant .. how would the restriction benifit TH9s and TH10s .. everybody can still dump excess elix on walls . I dont see how that will fix the loot problem.

Unless th9s and th10s drop trophies to gold-crystal league and feed on th8 th7

It will benefit th 9s because th 8s will have a bunch of excess elix. Th 10s, not so much (unless people aren't smart enough/like aesthetics too much to just upgrade one piece).

Not necasarily. Not all TH 9 and 10's had all level 8 walls and working on level 9 walls.

You need to be TH9 in order to be able to reach a wall level that can be upgraded with elixir. Generally, the complaints were that TH9/10 (especially 10) didn't have much resource to loot but now that TH8 can't dump their elixir, TH10 can get easy (but less due to 50% loot penalty) elixir off of TH8 and TH9 can get a good amount more elixir from TH8, which helps TH10 since they can steal from those TH9.

Higher wall levels also means higher prices so storages will reach a higher amount before getting dumped into walls. Hardly anyone says that this would fix the loot problem but it would theoretically improve the situation. Plus when you're TH9/10, you'd probably want to stop working on walls anyways since there are a lot of expensive stuff to buy instead

Therefore in theory there will be more elixir sloshing about lower down..... This plus lvl12 collectors should mean more loot all round. .. If th8, can't dump excesses, th9 will be hoovering it up.... The fact they can use it to upgrade skulls to lego's, means the benefit will be less for th10, I suppose....., but they allready have extra pumps, and new lvl7 giant will help steamroller any 9, who has loot......

I dunno may be due to the cry mails from all the TH9s.

It will help th10 a lot. What was the max for full level 11 collectors on a th8 before this update for a th10 attacking? 150k? Now it could be more like 200k.
Big help in general but not where I farm.

Also th8s will have lots of elixir so elixir+full pumps=feast.
TH10 speaking here.
