Hiya Clash Freaks.
Im Ninjas from Elite Eight, and currently I'm at Masters 3. So I guess you can say I'm the greatest clasher of all time. Anyway, I have collected some great information from my buddies over in Elite to make it so you fellow TH8's can make it to Masters/Champs as well!
Attack Stratizzles: There are 3 main strategies to get to those high trophies, Dragons, GoWiPe, and Balloonion. All are different and equally challenging, just personal preference!
NOTE: You can Barch to C1-M3, just make sure there are enough buildings for that easy 50%(Dont even think about those 3 stars)! Make sure to bring either: 3 Lightning for 1 mortar+pick off building/CC OR 2 rage 1 lightning. Rages can be used to get penetration and lightning to blow a builders hut up.
Balloonion: Not my forte, but usually bring 24-28 balloons, and the rest minions. 2 rages 1 lightning or heal. Use 4-6 loons to pick off archer towers/wizard towers, drop minions to clean up and destroy the outside buildings. Use rages to get balloons in there faster.
Stars Expected: 50% 1 Star.
GoWiPe: 2 Golems, 2-3 pekkas, at least 10 wbs, fill the rest with wizards! 2 rages, 1 lightning or heal. First drop off golems at different spots. Do NOT stack those golems on top of each other, ruins the point of soaking up defenses when you only cover a small area! Use 2-3 wall breakers at a time to penetrate and after your golems start going inside the center, feed more wall breakers through your hole, eventually breaking through to the townhall. After that, drop the wizards to clean up the outside buildings so your PEKKAS dont play Ring Around The Rosie and go straight towards the TH. When the outside buildings are cleaned up, drop those PEKKAS so they hopefully go into that juicy center. You can drop the king here too. If you do this right, youll be victorious and amazing at the same time!
Stars Expected: 2-3 stars, maybe 1 if the pekkas are dumbos or the enemy has high lvl teslas.
Dragons: My personal favorite. 10 dragons OR 9 drags 10 minions OR 20 archers. 3 rages or 2 rages 1 lightning for CC. One of the easier attacks, just put those dragons down in either a line, or a couple at each side, depending on location and level of the Air Defenses. After you put these fellas down, rage a big(ger) group of them and watch them blaze that base. Hopefully they do not go on a carousel, or the air defenses destroy them. Also, dragons are expensive like Kim Kardashian. They cost a lot, but treat them right and they will go to work if you know what I mean.
Stars Expected: 1-3. Really random results sometimes, could just get a 50% or a 3 star. Who knows.
REMEMBER: No one is automatically an expert at these strategies. Practice in crystal, and you will be good one you get to masters and champs.
Defence: You are never going to win. Like ever. Place your town hall outside for those easy shields. Making a trophy base will usually result with a 2-3 star, while you usually only get sniped with the TH outside. Also, put loot out unprotected if you can afford it, farmers will give you a free shield with that.
Another Easy Peasy Strategy: TH Snipes! Look down you scopes, and take the snipe whenever you can! The snipes get rarer and rarer when you get up there in trophies, but you can always find them.
Remember that CC! Usually, bring a PEKKA or wizards for GoWiPe, Ballons or minions for balloonion, and a dragon or archers/wizards for dragon raid. Archers never hurt in any of these!
Alright, that's basically it for the guide, anyone can get to masters and champs if they put enough time in, and remember Elite Eight is always open for any TH8 masters and champs!
