Test Attack Your Own Base

In base edit mode, on the right side there would be a button saying "Test Base" once you finish placing all buildings. You are then presented with a menu asking what type of troops, what level, what spells. You then, regularly attack your own base as you attack anyone else's base. You cannot see teslas, and bombs. However it doesn't really matter. This is especially helpful when you want to see if a higher level can attack you successfully
PROS
Not losing trophies or loot while being attacked.
Seeing what troops are effective or ineffective in attacking your base.
Experiencing different troops to play with.
figuring out how easy or hard your base is.
It's fun.


RULES: you can attack your base with any level, type troops. To see what is effective. Only YOU can attack your base. You or your friends cannot attack each others bases.

I think the idea is good overall, but it would ruin the whole concept of leveling up to experience higher level troops.

Okay c'mon maybe for you this would be good but what about those attacking you? Replays exist so you can watch how you were attacked what went wrong and patch from there. No matter what your friends could attack you unless they live 300km away because they could borrow your phone and test your defence with there own strategies. THE TIME HATH COME FOR THE INDESTRUCTIBLE BASES. Look at the pros how do they create there bases how do they mix up defence and storage? Learn from them.

Only use troops you have unlocked, and the troops are the level your troops are or below.

This is suggested often and the problem with it is it would be very exploitable.

People at the top could rearrange their base to match that of a competitor and use it for target practice until they perfected it.

It's also very similar to mini game which is ruled out. It's not in SC's best interest to give you stuff to do while you wait for things to build.

I can see how Supercell wouldnt want this.
