Stop the massive effect of lightning spells on dark elixer tanks.

There is only one thing i really really really HATE about clash of clans and that's the effect of lightning spells on a dark elixer tank.

Today about 4000 dark elixer is stolen with lighting spells in a few seconds, which takes me 4 day's to harvest. !
Who for god sake made this possible !

I can't defend myself against these types of attacks, i can't do anything NADA, nothing, niets, niente, τίποτα, nichts!

For now i'm trying to get 40.000 elixer for my hog upgrade, i'm working for that for the last 6 weeks, and every day these kinds of people come by and steel in two seconds my whole day of harvesting and attacking.


i'm realy sick of this, and has to change !

Take heart, its not worth the cost of the spells they have to use. Especially to get 4k they must have fully destroyed a fairly fat storage (after hitting next a ton of times to find it) which takes multiple spells. Understood you are bummed for what was taken from you. But you can have the satisfaction that it cost the guy more than he would spend getting it with troop raids. Once they figure this out they stop.

I call bull on that

What's your TH level? Trophy level? Drill level, if applicable? TH7 is getting a Drill soon, which will (maybe) help with the zapping, but it really isn't a big deal. I have maxed out drills and I could really care less about the DE I lose from rare zappings. It's infuriating, but not really an issue.

Also, I am sick and tired of seeing this post on the forums

they made the revenge function so you could zap back your/other victims dark elixir! Problem solved!

Go up in trophies and put your town hall out to minimize DE loss. No problem there....


(Sidenote: in theory, it is possible to lose all of your loot if you don't get a shield, so 4000 DE lost is entirely possible)

I'm pretty sure you have a farming base with a trapped Town hall.

TH Trappers get zapped allot due to their trapped town halls.

they made the revenge function so you could zap back your/other victims dark elixir! Problem solved!

Yep, never trap your town hall.

When people with lightning spells get angry and see your DE, well...

It can also happen over and over because no one's going to give you a shield

Go up in trophies and put your town hall out to minimize DE loss. No problem there....


(Sidenote: in theory, it is possible to lose all of your loot if you don't get a shield, so 4000 DE lost is entirely possible)

In the course of a full night? I can believe that. I would expect that to be quite rare though, that's 3 zappings without a shield at all. In seconds? Nah. Your solution to minimize DE loss is the way to go though.

You are doing something wrong.

Let me tell you a story; I have raided, saved and spent easily over 500k in DE over the past 60 days and can count the amount of times I've been zapped on two hands. That's counting those that zapped me and didn't get enough for to make me blink... average Zapper gets about 3-500 DE. I can get that in my sleep.... and actually, I do!

I can raid and gain 15K in DE in one nightly raid session if I wanted to. I can usually get 10K without trying too hard. Right now, I'm sitting pretty at 60K (10K short of my goal to start Valk 4, which I can start in about 30 hours after Golem 4 finishes) which I haven't even been trying to earn!

.....and I've only been zapped ONCE from a week ago that took 250 de....
