But, let us think: TH8 or 7 without those upgrades. These are the biggest targets of TH9. Let us take into account that situation. It MIGHT be a pottentially big loss for the economy of the lower TH's, and do not tell me they do not need these elix-to-wall-upgrades. Now, hardcore farming to those THs.

TH7 and TH8 are the best levels to farm at, and upgrades are still pretty inexpensive for the most part (especially TH7). TH9 generally don't attack TH7 due to the 50% loot availability. TH8 will get hit more due to extra elixir, and TH9 will probably get hit more because of level 7 giants. But that's the way it should be, lower town halls are supposed to get raided by higher levels for resources.

Level 8 walls are worth doing, i suggest golden 1-2 for fast farming, and bam. I don´t know about the lavas, even though they look good. Level 11 are awful, would never ever do them.

Dark purple were a piece of cake. Did them all with gold before the elixir for walls update.
Skulls are a bit harder, but being able to use elixir helped a lot. I dread the next steps, though
