Yeah, it's definitely a bummer for TH8s. It'll be better for the overall economy though.

Yea it's frustrating that it will mess up my upgrade schedule, but it's really good for the economy so I'm not mad.

As you can clearly see in my profile, I'm still a TH8 doing level 8 walls. Pretty mad that I can't use elixir to upgrade walls anymore because my lab is FINALLY done, and I can turn all my attention to farming walls now. Well, I'll be boosting to get those walls done...

I know it sounds incredible, but I finished my 4 last walls to lvl 8 yersterday! Now I'm all in lvl 8 walls, so no change for me

Lv9 walls can use elixir, th8 gets new collectors... coincidence? the moment elixir falls off due to being used for walls is when collector raids become much better

I'm a th8 and about 1/3 of the way through with my walls. This doesn't affect me too much because I'm done with all my building upgrades so my gold was going to the walls anyway. it will slow me down somewhat but it will affect a lot of my classmates more.

I don't see this helping the economy much at all. Most of the people in the gold leagues don't even go up to level 7 walls at th8.

I wasn't suffering from a lack of loot at all. I guess it might help some but watch all the complaints about lack of gold come out LOL.

Just moved to TH9 a week ago with full skulls at TH8. As I normally do first besides the essentials like Lab, CC, and AQ, I try to get the new buildings at TH9 equalized with my base for better integration, which include walls. I was fortunate to get the new 25 walls up to purple with 2-3 skulls before I caught wind of the leak yesterday. I was saving up elixir to get my drills started in anticipation of a 1 gem boost coming (still hoping it happens!). Needless to say, I dropped all of those plans and started pouring everything into those dam skulls haha. I only have 5 more remaining and I plan to have those done by end of day today.

I'm not sure who leaked the update or why, but I don't really care. I'm happy it happened when it did or it may have slowed me down. I did all my TH7 purples and about half purples out of the new walls unlocked at TH8 before the elixir for walls update hit. And I am lucky because I'll be done with full skulls at TH9 before the elixir for skulls goes away with this update.

When do you think the update will go live? How long do I have?

I finished my skulls about 2 weeks ago, now i'm starting on level 9 walls, i'm so happy i didn't start playing a month later haha. However, i think if you can do 15 walls a day (7.5 mil of loot combined) you should be good.
