The Rush to Level 8 Walls

Anyone else farming as many walls to TH8 before the update? I know I am, haha.

I'm a TH 9 with about 40 level 8 walls, the rest are level 7. While I support only level 9+ walls being upgradable with elixir, I now regret my decision to go to TH9 without all level 8 walls. Luckily once I get to the point of having excess elixir in TH9 I'll have enough level 8 walls that I won't be wasting elixir, as I could use gold to upgrade 7-8 and elixir 8-9. Those TH9s who didn't bother to upgrade walls to level 7 will be having fun now.

But in the last few days before the update, I'll be farming as much as I can into walls!

So, let's hear your plan, or just comments in general!

Well... Just upgrade skulls with gold and lego with elixir. No change at all in the end.

Problem solved. No rush needed.

This is not true for TH8 though. But TH9 no change at all. move on!

Yep, I'm frantically attacking bases with elixir for my skulls.

I was working on legos, with still around 50 skulls to do. But knowing this, I'll put all my elix in my remaining skulls. I'll try to do as much as I can before the update.

Now with archer towers that need to be level 13, I need my gold. Can't waste it on level 8 walls.

Still, good move SC. That was the thing to do.

I understand that I'll be able to use gold for skulls and elixir for legos, I said that in my original post. Doesn't mean that I don't want to get as many skulls as possible before the update.

TH8, and barely 1/4th of the way into my lvl 8 walls. Can't imagine I'll get more done till the weekend atleast. For once, I want an update delayed * Prays to Android and Apple Gods *

Yeah, it's definitely a bummer for TH8s. It'll be better for the overall economy though.

I'm in the exact same boat, TH9 with 44 skulls rest purple. I rushed to get all my elixir upgrades done so I could dump it all into my walls, and the update comes out when I have only 3 more upgrades to go. I think I will go ahead and knock out those buildings after I do my collecters, then do the gold for skulls elixir for Legos approach as well since I can only dump so much elixir in to my lab.
