Im barching in m3-m1, and dont see that many lv13 ATs. Those are where the big differences are, and really, if youve ground out 52.5M to max them all, then you should reap the benefit.
It WILL hurt, those that push with barch/all arch, or never come down from push and farm in mid-high champs, where max ATs are everywhere.
Remember, many people asked for this, or at least complained about their maxed bases not being able to fend off barch. While i feel sorry for those that put in Herculean efforts to rise insanely high in 🏆s with sc♥♥♥♥ armies, extra def balance can never be a bad thing.
Choices are, stay below the level of max ATs everywhere, or go heavier with the now very likely lv7 giant.

I farm in m2-3 with barch and all arch and it will def make things harder. The biggest problem I see with this is if it shoots twice as fast it will redirect twice as fast. Looks like my hero usage is going to have to go up...sigh. If the leaked info is totally correct looks like I might also be throwing in a few level 7 giants soon then.

On a plus side, this could make lower level Archer Towers not suck when defending against dragons
I don't think its dead so much as they raised the bar on what we need to do to win.
Probably hovering around low champs and upgrading one of your heroes is kinda dead now. But with two high level heroes and solid CC troops (maxed Golem for me) I think near constants wins will still be on tap for TH10 BARCH.
