    Right but there are tons of other factors in play. First of all, all attacks don't involve max level archers and towers.

    Second, the towers will work much faster against a group of troops that have been weakened by another defense.

    It certainly won't effect everyone equally, but it is clear to me that SC is specifically targeting barching in the higher leagues. That makes me a little sad because the increased league bonus finally made that a viable strategy for loot that doesn't rely on attacking abandoned bases in gold league.

    Hopefully the increased collectors will help make up for it.

    It the same as Xbows

    Why do we think Xbows is better than Archer Towers, even when Xbow lvl 4have 80dps and Archer Tower lvl 13 have 98dps

    If you compare them in action, Xbow will take out small troops (Tier 1 troops) faster than Archer Towers, even with lower damage. Because it shoots faster

    This also may give more value to heal spells, as troops that were one shot, (cannot heal a one shot,) can now be healed through some or all of the damage.

    It was kinda weird that cannons shot faster than archer towers.

    I postponed my archer towers upgrade last because I found them not that useful. Will now push them to level 13 as fast as I can.

    Ok, call me stupid, but I still don't see a change.

    My numbers are not right, but I'm using this as an example.

    Old AT - 1 shot every one second for 100 damage
    New AT - 2 shots every one second for 100 damage

    Am I missing something? The damage is still the same. Right...?

    The way I understood it from watching Galadon's video is the advantage is to the higher level AT's as they can one shot archers and barbs. With the added speed they have more time to kill a swarm of troops before they get close enough to do any damage.

    Thats the way i understood it anyway, I could be wrong.

    It's the same thing dahimi and vector...:

    Lets assume that we are dealing with a Archer Tower level 5.

    Currently: 30 DPS per second
    With the new update: 15 DPS per half-second

    ..in the end, its the same thing...in 1 second, the DPS is exactly the same. The damage is the same. (30 DPS per second)

    The only advantage with a shorter firing rate, is if a troop is moving outside of ATs range: while in the past a troop could get outside of an AT range in between 2 shots time span (1sec interval), now they will take 1 extra shot (15 dps after 0.5 sec), within that previous same time span (1 sec).

    Honestely i only see this as a more cpu intensive visual gimmick, then anything else.

    The new archer towers are going to be like hidden teslas on crack. Except higher dps, longer range, faster shot speed, and 7 of them instead of 4.

    It would not surprise me a bit if they actually end up lowering the dps on archer towers in a future update.
