    I suppose i have to skip wars because i'm upgrading my archer queen non stop to level 30 then... I'll just be patient, 123 days from AQ level 12 to 30 is not a very long time, it's just 4 months!
    And for the gems, well my 6 months saving of COC worth of 2k gems can skip 2 weeks of upgrade, so that's 109 days!

    But people who gem their heroes' time are going to gem them anyway.
    I've never heard of someone who said that they are losing a war so they are going to gem their being-upgraded heroes. Or maybe you did, but that's like 1:1000 chance ._.

    They should be available for CW. This is the biggest change required to CW for me. With a max base and max troops I get paired with some fairly tough opponents, being one hero down makes a massive difference to my ability to take down those bases.

    It would be nice to have them for regular raiding too, but I'd be happy to be without them for farming, as I can choose my opponents accordingly based on the offence I have available.

    I was in a clan who had a fair bit of war wins (70+) and people got intimidated by our streaks and everything, so a few of the TH gemmed to the next level and gemmed to get a better upgraded king or queen.

    Super cell does not need to do a thing to make the game more challenging. If YOU want more of a challenge while raiding, attack bigger badder bases using less troops if you want. With war, it sounds like you attack down from your level if you 're not needing cc troops or heroes, but whatever.

    I had heroes upgrading the whole time and could still two star any th9, now im a th10 with lvl31 heroes upgrading and im still taking down guys with similar level defences to me. Sounds like your raiding skills needs some work

    Someone in the clan could be bleeding in elixir and saving for the next upgrade.

    My clan does too, but none of my mates are gemming time. They do boost though.
    As for the king and queen... I suppose 2-3 attacks with and without heroes made a difference in a very tight war. When a side clearly is going to won the war no one's going to gem them anyway D:

    That's just too bad. I'm a TH9 and i've two starred TH10, 84% and 80%. Twice. Both had disco infernos and at least TH9 defenses. My PEKKAs are level 1, my golems are level 2, I still have the screenies. You want them? Maybe you could learn a thing. Or two.
    About TH9. I've three starred them too many times, often with either hero being upgraded that i've lost count

    If SC worries about gems here is the solution

    I mentioned this before...

    When your heros are upgrading, you can instantly use them for offense in clan war. Here's the catch, when they get to 50% health or 0% health, they make your WAR base vulnerable because they're asleep. You can either boost or heal them ready. Imagine the strategies that will change if this is allowed. I for sure would be all for this. Always upgrading my heroes, and just gemming them ready for war defense after I use them. That's an easy 20 gems (boosted) or 100 gems per player for each war. I know it's not as much as a potential 500-600 gem hero upgrade, but it would allow wars to be more competitive and fun for guys who like to gem a little now and then (i would think the majority of COCers).
