Agreed! I have 2 different accounts my first I messed up by going to level 10 town hall, with level 6 walls. I can't get enough resources to upgrade my walls now. This is gonna make it even harder.

Getting rid of using elixir for level 8 walls is a horrible idea. If the idea is to have more elixir available for looting I don't understand the reasoning at all. We were spending the excess elixir on walls because there was nothing else to spend it on. Millions of elixir can't all be dumped into donating higher level troops to your clanmates. I just don't understand how having more availability of a somewhat useless resource is a good idea.

Hopefully they will change this back. Most of the people saying this feature is a good thing are people who are feeling salty that they upgraded their walls long before they could have used elixir. That's not good reasoning, that's selfish.

You TH8s need to take an economics course even one time, or simply check the threads that for months people have been detailing the problem that this caused when it was implemented in the first place. I'm at TH8 right now and I just completed lvl 7 walls. I just got my first 100,000,000 gold raided today. So with this update I'm going to have to raid another 112,500,000 GOLD just to get all lvl 8 walls. Dude this is really dumb. I mean really really dumb. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be fired. Everything the way it was seemed fine. There was an equal amount of gold/elixir in pretty much every base I raid. Now elixir storages are going to just collect dust because its pretty much a useless resource now. Oh ya, I can use a few million here and there for troop upgrades. Oh yea I can upgrade barracks and make spells and train troops. But beyond that elixir just turned into a worthless overabundant resource overnight.

Change it back SUPERCELL!!! I mean this fix is breaking the economy not fixing it.

Nobody should even have to debate you as you're a TH8 and are proving to have no concept of what this did to TH9/10s, so your opinion is worthless. They also shouldn't have to b/c this debate has already gone on for MONTHS while TH9s and TH10s simply could not farm due to the update. Go find those threads b/c I'm not wasting my breath on you.

And the "gold>de" comment: do you know what it became after the first walls update? "Elixir>Gold>DE" for any player TH9 or higher. DE is only the most valuable resource to TH7/8s b/c you don't have as much access to producing/farming it yet. Jesus Christ, kid.
