At TH 6, even at TH 7 it wasn't too bad. Skulls onwards though, rather annoying especially with the cost of upgrades considering I don't have all day to raid (usually 1-3 on an average day). Especially sucks cause I just finished most of the elixir lab upgrades and now SC decides to make the elixir wall upgrade only work at lvl 9+Are wall prices too high for you? So the lower ends can actually score some loot. It used to be gold only ALL levels haha...I didn't know that SuperCell is changing the walls to upgrade with elixir after lvl9+. Why????? Very sad SuperCell
Walls are just a resource sink for super active/rich players. There is a reason they are as expensive as they are.
The only real odd thing is the 2m jump from 9-10 and then a 1m jump from 10-11. But I really can't see it changing.
You don't need to max walls. If you can't farm/afford them, don't worry about it. You can still have a strong base without the boredom of grinding walls.

This means you are getting less then 75,000 loot per raid and you are not getting any loot from your collectors.

I think that the wall prices are fine. It's challenging to raid enough loot to start my upgrades and buy a couple of walls. It's a fine line between challenging and prohibitive, but I think the wall prices are ok. I feel a small sense of accomplishment when I finish a section of walls and I look forward to working on a new section.

I don't even get a chance to upgrade(Well maybe sometimes) but people with TH9 attack and take my loot and the matches the games gives me are just eye popping. Seriously Th8-9-10 and no less. Is this with me or has the game gone mad? Even if I attack these guys, I don't get more 30,000 or elixir and always get raided with no shield activated...

No. Walls are nice to have. Not a need to have and therefore it is up to yourself if you want to spend the time/dime.
