Ask everyone to leave. Press that red button has a tag " Leave ". Start your own clan.

    Remember your friends

    Follow the advice given here.

But as for making it possible to oust a leader, that's a bad idea.

Democracy might work as a form of government, but in a military unit it's a terrible idea.

What's popular is not what wins wars.

I don't agree, like others said, this can be abused.

It's the leaders clan, he paid for it, he built it... it's his. You can start your own clan and poach his members, that's on you but I do not like the idea of voting out a leader.

Speaking from experience: I had the same problem, started a new clan, and everyone I wanted to follow followed me. Things run much more smoothly now. Don't be afraid to start from scratch.

If they added the option of removing leader by voting then there would be so many trollers who would join a clan with a good record and then throw out the leader. All his efforts would be wasted.

Yeap just start a new clan with all the unhappy people. Thats the best way to vote now. Vote with your feet. If they are that bad then it should be easy to create a new clan and have everyone follow.
Leader of clan Ironclads. We are always looking for new members. We value camaraderie, teamwork, and maturity. We war once a week thanks to the Opt In/Out feature that gives players choice! Chat is kept clean and respectful. Come by and say hi!

I had something similar happened to me. I was a co-leader in a clan were the leader was worthless. Most people there looked up to me but there were things I couldn't control. We lost more than we won because of inactives I couldn't kick (or did kicked but brought back because they were leader's IRL friends who barely played anymore). So, after months of that I finally announced my intention to make a new clan. We had 48/50 when it happened. Two-third of the clan followed me. Precious few decided they wanted to go more casual so they made a mini clan and we are still good friends. The rest I wanted to dump anyway. What happened to the old clan? Disbanded! The old leader couldn't keep it together after I left and jumped ship. We are now in a new clan that has 30 active people that would go to the edge of hell with me. Our war experience improved by a lot and we beat tough clan with discipline. It was the best decision I ever made in Clash.

Long story short, if you're not happy with your current leader and know that most people are with you, set up a new clan. Leave him to rot in the old clan, you don't need him anyway. Just plan it well and ensure smooth transition. The rest is easy.

Things went wrong in the old clan..... My brother left & set up this one. Over a few weeks people joined here. Even the previous leader. Long story.

Honestly if you have the ability to lead a clan - people already look to you and respect you - go for it.

Starting a new clan is hard. Make sure that any people who follow you either a) know your rules you have set and will abide by them or b) set up joint rules & expectations together

Whatever happens make sure that everyone pulls their weight recruiting and retaining new members....
