Hiding inactives is the worst choice ever made in this game !

A well known issue is that super-cell always favor active villages in matchmaking much more than inactives.
The only reason for any company to apply any type of modification to her product is to increase profit and they can hide it in many different ways like improving the quality, game-play, more fun , BLA BLA BLA ...
Me as a customer, playing for 1 year and 4 months, I spent a decent amount of money on this game (around a 1000$ ) and now I'm in the final stages of maxing my th10. Almost all of the money I invested was for boosting my barracks, spell factory and my heroes to perform more raids in shorter time. That used to be fun and I played for 10 hours on average daily and sometimes friends and clan-mates hold a gathering and we played for 16 hours nonstop and honestly I advised a lot of people to buy a small amount of gems to boost their barracks and almost everyone who tried it got hooked and they started boosting always. that used to be something we enjoy, until super-cell decided to start shrinking the loot in this game and making it harder and harder to farm. a lot of players like me started to have bad times finding loot, even searching for an inactive sometimes took over 20 minutes nexting causing a lot of wasted time from my boosting time. as a result of this, most of us decreased the time they play, some stopped boosting while the other found an alternative game to spend their time. If your aim behind hiding inactives is to force farmers to buy resources to make their upgrades, or walls then this ain't gonna happen. I bet you that you wont find any legit farmer in this game that will replace farming resources by buying them with gems.
keeping this issue ignored will not benefit any side.
The strategy SC is using right now is completely different than what users want.
SC: Start your game, get attached, pay for not losing your progress.
Players: the funnier the game, the more time we spend, the more gems we buy to boost. that's how it should work !

PS: When I'm referring to my farming friends and clan-mates in this game, almost all of them are past 1.5 Billion Gold Grab and some are even at 2.0 Billion Gold Grab ( ex: Makho, Danz, Firas, Holicity, Zenky, Legosawyer, Junyab, ... From FARMING LEGENDS and FARMING LEGION)

BTW: I'M REALLY SICK OF IDIOTIC REPLIES FROM NOOBS SO BEFORE EVEN THINKING ABOUT REPLYING TAKE A LOOK ON OUR PROFILES AND IF YOU THINK YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO ADVISE ME THEN ILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO KNOW YOUR OPINION.

So what you're saying is that you're an almost maxed Th10, you're friends are at 1.5 and 2 Billion gold grab....and you're actually complaining about loot. Honestly I can't think of any PC or console game that you're forced to pay for that keeps my attention for more than 3 months (outside of Diablo) let alone 1 year and 4 months so I think Supercell knows what the doing in terms of thier long term business model.

I'm complaining about the great regression in loot, that's it. Before this, the game was fun to play but now we are not active anymore due to the absence of inactive villages ( spending endless time nexting and wasting resources ). we are not boosting anymore and some are only collecting mines.

I cant stand a th8 barely achieved his GG achievement to come here telling me ( u don't know how to farm or loot is great i found an inactive village last weak and it was crazy) and you know who I'm targeting here. Players that mastered farming in this game and those who really played hard to achieve a recognizable place in this.

Yeah and i cant stand someone replying on threads thinking hes a moderator.
Jealousy can be harmful sometimes. I bet you have no idea about what I'm talking here.

FYI: YOU ARE NOT TARGETED IN THIS THREAD IF YOU ARE:

    1- A GEMMER
    2- A TH SNIPER
    3- A LVL SEEKER
4- A NOOB WITH PINK WALLS

I'M ASKING THE OPINIONS OF GREAT FARMERS IN THIS GAME AND APPARENTLY YOU ARE NOT ONE SO I THINK SPENDING YOUR TIME ON THE NEW "CHRISTMAS UPDATE" THREAD MAY BE MORE BENEFICIAL FOR YOU

OK fine. I got a TH10. TH is the main distinguisher for me in the loot discussion. Whether you've raided 10m at TH10 or 1bn the main difference is time spent doing it. We all (I assume) see the same queue.

I played for a long time, but never played really intensive sessions like you. I've never had the time and I'd get bored. The most recent experience I had even vaguely similar was 2hr boosted BAM in c2, which ended abruptly after the lix walls update.

Loot is awful if you want to be an intensive farmer, really awful, but I don't think inactives are the answer. This game should be about raiding bases, not throwing down a few barch troops on some long vacated base with max collectors. This might be the ideal of the cheap quick progress at all costs farming, but the only real challenge is being able to hold off the boredom. The game should be tougher than that, but not the way that it is now.

I agree with this entirely. Not sure whether the loot drought (and yes compared to previous levels there is one) is intentional by SC or they have just taken their eyes off the ball. But you are right that in the end it doesn't matter, farmers will not pay for resources and if the resources aren't there to raid without excessive nexting then the game becomes stale and people will stop playing. I hope it can be fixed.
