How can a 3612 cup holder get 27 cups from me a 3705 cup champ?

My friend at 4400 won a defense yesterday. Attacker didn't even shield him and gave him a +8. Before he could log back in he got attacked again and taken for a three star -47.
It sucks. I know. Been there myself.

You can't revenge in Champ unless there was just a maintenance break 5 seconds ago.

In champion's league you can be offered anywhere from 1 to 59 trophies on offense(or defense for that matter) to balance out the lack of players.

I've been attacked for 40-55 trophies plenty of times and have myself found several players at 50-55 for a 3 star. It's just quite rare.

If you tried logging in right after the maintenance break, it will be quite easy to find such a high cup offer.. During normal days it is really really rare... Well at least you made 1 guy happy today

Rather than start a whole new thread on this i am resurrecting a week old thread! (Shame on me)

But...

i think this discussion should go on a little.
i'm pushing at the moment and I'm sitting at about 3130 in cups but i have hit a wall.
When searching i find myself having to 2 star seriously hard bases for more than 10 cups and when i go on defense (Usually hero-less) i get ~20 taken off me for a 2 star!!!

There is times when i get 1 star on the attack and 1 star on the defense but still...
how is it possible that I'm offering always round the 30 trophy mark and cant very very rarely find one near that amount (And its usually L10+ walls and such)


Frustrating stuff - Any ideas that doesn't involve being online all day?

cups are server-sided, I don't think hakus/cheetos would be the reason

If you want big cups (or even average ones), chances are its going to be super tough bases. (Why you think they are there, unshielded, available to attack?).

Its highly advised not to log out heroes asleep, but that does mean more time online. Either that, or TH out and hope on the snipe. Wont always work, but any snipe you catch is better than the virtually guaranteed 2* of heroes asleep.
TH out also puts you on the radar of those much higher in 🏆s. They wont do a full attack for 1 or 2 trophies, but theyll snipe for 1.

Long sessions always best if you want to climb, if you cant, then at least allow yourself a really long search to find some good cups.

a few have mentioned to me now to go with the TH outside but that didn't make sense to me. how you can climb with losing trophies on every defense??? Seems its better to lose a few than loads which being in this range would suggest!

If you are matching a guy with almost the same amount off cups he is prob going to be a +-30 cupper. Same counts for def.
That's just how it is these days
