I don't understand why people even use revenge.

Most of the time it is not worth while, you are better off using the next button to find better bases.

I don't use revenge myself, but these are a few reasons as to why i would have thought others use this feature;

- 0 gold usage as no need to Next
- Can essentially plan the attack before going in ( Much more time than when searching normally, 30 seconds )
- Can check cc to see if there are troops
- Revenge is sweet if they did a number on you

I am sure there are plenty more, these are just a couple from the top of my head.

I agree that something to indicate which base on the revenge list is acually available would be a very useful addition.

There are only a few instances when revenge is useful anyway. If the person attacking you has their storages outside or a weaker player looted your base which really should make you think about your defenses. Otherwise, the player attacking are usually stronger and in that case just let another stronger player loot their base.

Keep playing, revenge is great. Build a big war army and practice, crush a fool who zapped your DE, catch collectors full.. List go's on and on. with my TH out, I catch people all the time that have no business attacking me and take everything they've got. Its fun.

Communication overload.

I don't know the exact numbers, but lets say you have 30 people on your revenge list. For the entire time you are logged on your client is receiving updates about the status of those 30 clients. At the same time, the 30 clients on your list are also receiving updates on the 30 clients on their list.

All that communication makes for a lot of network traffic. To much overhead for no gain. Never going to happen.

Takes me all but 15 seconds to check my revenge list since 95% are snipes.

I rarely revenge.
Only if someone sniped me and they have a lot of loot, and if they are easy to take down.

how could checking all your revenge list take 30min?

it took me only less than 5 min to check which of my revenge list is currently can be attacked.

just click every revenge button in one go, it's so simple

Half the time they won't even know or care why or what you revenge them for....
