Is loonian still the best way to get DE? Really?

if you can't wait you can do 16-24 balloons and rest minions. Thought balloonion takes de you have to be in c1 or higher to profit from raids but less balloons mean less chance hitting into the core. If you still can't wait boost barracks and split up the minons in the dark barracks. But when you can do more balloonian they need heal, rage and freeze spells to be effective on bases w/ x-bows and infernos. You can do a balloonian on an inactive base without spells. Plus in high c1+ when you find bases with three maxed de drills you should profit from that

If your life allows lots of raiding and nexting, then I recommend BAM around G1/C3. Look for 800-1000+ DE per raid and only use like 15-20 minis. This army is nice because it allows you to accumulate a lot of gold and elixir while also farming DE. I'm TH9 farming DE for heroes, but if I see a collector raid I usually take it. I can keep heroes going nearly non-stop (level 20/21 atm), and I'm able to upgrade at least 1 lava wall every day.

If your life is more suited to doing 1 raid every 45-60 minutes, then do Loonion at higher trophy level.

BAM, Loonion and GiBarch all can net quite a lot of DE per day. Choose the one that you're comfortable with and fits your life.

I prefer to simply barch for DE and look for drills and storages no more than 2 levels deep. If it's in the center, just hit next. Someone will have what I want closer to the edges. Barch is cheap and if you grind through, you can get what you're looking for.
