Army camp ?? Or labatory

You see alot of TH9's with an upgraded lab, but not having the elixir to start the troop upgrades.

If you start your lab first, when the lab is ready, not all your camps will be done.
you won't have enough elixir to fund both your camp finalising (2.25m each), and lab upgrade at the same time (4.5m - 6m)

Your first lvl6 troop won't be ready for yet another 10 days after you start it.

The extra camp/troops will help you get that elixir.

Yeah, I actually went with two camps first, they're almost done now. I'll do lab next and another camp. I do like having the extra troops.

Watched one of Daddy's videos when Junior hit th9 and he did camps first which swayed me, I was on the fence. tbh, I can see arguments for either as both help in raids, spell factory I'm less concerned about - great for war, less so on a daily basis for me.

I'm going camps and spell factory first. I still got some upgrades I can do in the lab while I do the other stuff. My schedule will be:

1 camp and spell factory (5 days)
2 camps (another 5 days)
1 camp and lab

So I'll only have a 10 day delay while finishing 2 upgrades I couldn't get to at TH8.

Lab.

I did lab and spell factory first. Worst days of my TH9, the first 5. No spells. But another spell, and jump is so awesome. I did camps and drills right after, but prioritized drills more, even though camps finished first. Did dark rax last.

I purposely started my level 3 Pekka upgrade a couple of days before my TH hit level 9 so I could focus on getting the spell factory and the army camps upgraded before beginning my TH9 troop upgrades. Worked well for me, and I would suggest that you keep your lab going with TH8 upgrades if you still have them before upgrading. Although I can see the merit of upgrading it right away too...
