Reason for Christmas update delay

i know you have a little more insight to us mere general public but SC mods have been saying that for months. we havent had a serious update since clanwars. there are so many thing that sc might be working on but we are not seeing any of them come in. im not by any means ready for quitting but so many are.

your interest in this is the money factor you get from your YT channel. you may get excited by the little updates that come out purely cus the general public will rush to your YT and you will see the CPC roll in. i dont have that same excitement. i am more wanting the update to come out to make me excited but over the last few months i have been massively dissapointed.

coming soon is a cop out. we(COC members) have been waiting very patiently for something we can really get our teeth into. CW is great but it has killed our clan. kick -reinvite - win/lose - kick - reinvite - win lose. thats how it goes. its not fun searching through 25+ bases to see whos in before every war. some of those we kick dont come back. our clan is diminishing and the only guys we can get to join are those that leave before a war has ended which is no good for those that want to win.

Clan wars destroyed my clan. I had a hyper active clan of 45+ mature members. Donations averaged above 900 per player per season. But with clan wars thrown into the mix the dynamics of the game changed. It was no longer about just maintaining a happy active clan, it became about learning attack strategy, having bases with strong defenses, base level. Etc. Ad nauseum. My hyper active clan could not survive the changes that needed to be made to allow the higher level members to make loot on clan wars as well as having a chance at winning.
I will always miss the old days. I still play but not as much, I no longer am in a clan. I dwell on the fringes joining donor clans for troops occasionally. I chat in global when I'm lonely. It's been a long road but I just can't quit. I have too much time invested in my base! Please supercell give us a good Christmas present.

Sorry, he should just tell you when it is them.
He is no doubt bound to a confidentiality agreement with supercell, any details on the update he has, he is not at liberty to discuss.

there are thing we are not meant to know. i understand that. but maybe he could say they will start peaks in the next 3-4 days or something like that. give us that carrot.

my issue is more with SC than the mods like daddy. yes they have to hype the updates cus generally they are pretty poor for the time the dev spend on them. honestly i would not pay the dev a penny for the work they have done on coc lately. they will all have dusty keyboards. the only characters that will be visable will be L M A O.

they need to get a grip and give us something.

Things get pretty chaotic as soon as sneak peeks start, too much hype. I would rather wait another two weeks and just suddenly get the update, but they need sneak peeks to build hype to get more people to play sadly.

i like the hype. get us all talking in the clan. get more people excited in the forums. its great. i probably hate it as much but its like waiting to go on a big ride. you want to experience it and you know it will be a blast but you still get that feeling in your stomach.

once upon a time i would say your right. but recently(if recently means the last few months) SC have not been very predictable with sneaks never mind updates. you could set your clock by them before the clan wars update. now its probably easie to gues how long that piece of string is.

Oh come on seriously I don't care about money or I would sell app downloads/chairs whatever the others do - i'm excited about this update because I know exactly what is in it, have done for weeks and I'm looking forward to it.
