This business of "farming" needs to be dealt with - and fast!

Hello there DaSud, that was a very long post with a lot of abusive comments (such as "cowardly and worthless") aimed at the farming community. You seem to be a pretty direct guy, so I am going to be equally frank with you.

Your base is in a very bad shape. You upgraded to TH 8 far to early. You have serioulsy crippled yourself in terms of being able to defend against well co-ordinated attacks. You will be pillaged and burned over and over again for the next weeks, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. My TH 7 (2nd account) is way more powerful in terms of defensive power than your TH 8. That other players take advantage of your weakness is to be expected in a game that evolves around multiplayer battles.

You say that you belong in gold II in your post. I disagree. Silver II would probably fit you a lot better to be honest, you are a low level player with a rushed TH 8, you have no business being in Gold II if you can't stand the heat, which you obviously can't since you just posted such a long list of complaints.

Your analysis on the changes you'd like to see is obviously only based on your own gaming experience. What you need to understand, however, is that you lack a lot of experience and knowledge in this game. And your suggestions show that.

I also find it strange that you say that you don't want to "name and shame" and then proceeds to do just that. Your actions is what counts, not your statements.

Im not going to wade in heavy handed here...

I cannot admit that i read the entire OP... However... I figured after i saw that the thread title was complaining about Farming.. Swiftly followed by Lvl3 Pekka.... i feel i had to at least say something...

What is described is not a Farmer... If he came with Pekka he intended on smoting yours (or whoevers) under developed Gold II base into the ground...

A Farmer does not tend to use tier 3 Troops... Except in the event that he has maxed out his Elix hence the overpowered attack vs Resources gained was not his primary objective.

A Farmer will not generally use such heavy handed methods to obtain resources, it does not make sense.

As per Action Monkeys evaluation, you are obviously punching above your weight and as such must accept these defeats.

When the Day arrives when this realisation hits you, you have two options, carry on hunting trophies or settle into a more sedate pace in Silver I or II....

However this advice must come with a warning Also... As when you do drop then i will be waiting to smote your base into the Ground and Steal all your resouces... Then you can really complain about farming

...While it's understandable that this is a freemium game and money has to be made somewhere, it's just ridiculous to make that money by basically having bullies run around shaking down kids for their lunch money because they feel it's a better alternative to playing and progressing through the game legitimately...

Your argument fails because of your inappropriate use of "legitimately".

Gemming is a legitimate function of this game.

The simple fact is, people want to keep progressing in the game. The only way to do this is with resources. You can either buy resources or earn them during battles. It's pretty fair to say the harder the battle the lower the resources available.

Due to this your average player will of course go where the resources are.

SC have introduced leagues to try and appeal to people's competitive side in the hope they will want to keep progressing upwards. I think most people may have tried doing this but after realising there is a lack of resources the higher you go, and the fact the leagues currently mean nothing, they quickly came back down.

I agree that a premature TH9 should not be penalised the same as a maxed TH9. Every base should be ranked based on their wall level/no of defenses, defense levels etc. This would probably help to keep more players interested in the game who upgraded their TH too quickly and then leave.

Not sure if you're trolling or not but you've made a huge number of mistakes in your approach to the game, as has been pointed out to you already.

Thats why there's a percentage of res that doesnt show when you're attacking a lower lvlTh... Don't complan... I have better defences than you in my 2nd acct, lvl40 and still TH6... Dnt do the misske i did about getting TH9 in a single go without upgrading defences

Hello everyone. This is my base. I'd like to think that it is a pretty accurate representation of an average player who belongs in the Gold II league. My walls are coming along nicely, and my cannons and towers are level 6-7, with level 3-4 mortars and 2-3 wizards. Nothing amazing, nothing too crappy, just right for where I should be. My archers are level 4, and I am very happy about just unlocking minions.

Compared to your level of defenses I would say Gold league II is too high for you.
Drop it to Silver league II, and the attacks on your will more evenly match your defenses.

I have been in Crystal league, but right now I jump from Gold league II to III, cuz the loot is much better here, if you make quick armies like me (Tier 1 and 2 armies). I am level 80 and judging from what you say about your defenses I would assume you are somwhere between level 40-50. Given your current level I think you will have a hard time at Gold II.

But seriously...
With your level of defenses, you sound easy to destroy for someone in gold league. I would suggest moving to silver league until your defenses are higher level. Most of my clan mates with your level of defenses, are in Silver league I or II.
