    If your base is really spread out, I would go with ground. Everything else I would prefer ground/air. If TH10, 1 ground and 2 air/ground. But it is all just personal preference.

    Depends on your base design to be honest. Farming I have 2 centralised ground covering all storages; for War all air is recommended or you are going to get lavoonioned.

    Typically I do Ground when protecting my farming layouts (exposed TH in the corner)


    When I make a Trophy-Push-bases, or War-base always air..

    I have done a mix before, where the more centralized one was ground and the outer most was on air.

    but usually im on ground to take advantage of the impressive range and zap those T1 farmer raids

    All of my 3 x-bows are set to Air & Ground to fend off loonies.
