It's what the clan castle looks like when a player isn't in a clan (no flag).

They left their clan with troops in their CC, so they get deployed out of a butter churn.

So he got troops from a clan, then left them. Because he is no longer with that clan he doesn't have their shield, but this weird thing instead

if yes, this player hasn't got a clan
So it's just the clan castle troops with no shield ok
It's a new troop for the Christmas update. Shhh, no one knows about it yet!
