Please help! TH8 in need of help!

There are plenty of good th8 base designs on here.

I upgrade splash, multipoint, then point defenses. So I do mortars, wiz tower, arch tower, canon. With 4 builders, I keep 3 on defenses and 1 on offenses like DE storage, DE drill, barracks. Then I keep 2 on defenses 1 on Teslas, 1 on AirDef until AD6 then I leave 2 on Def, 1 on Tesla, 1 free for walls.

Base design is good for when you are nearing max TH8 and have 2m+ resources and 20k+ DE, then base design comes into play as that DE assassin the Archer Queen will come calling, not a whole lot you can do but slow her down as she goes for your precious dark elixer.

Most important is to have a farming layout, and do not, repeat after me, do not trap your exposed TownHall. Let them have a free snipe and you get 12 hours of protection from the ArcherQueen!! Nothing worse than losing that hard fought dark elixer.

I've used 3 different bases now as th8 and it is more luck than base as to whether or not you get a lucky snipe or a hungry Giant6 led Archer Queen burglary!!

Base layout makes a huge difference. One should not have full gold, elixir and DE, since you will only be inviting attacks. I try to keep only one resource full at a time. I was able get enough DE for BK 10 and hogs3 thus in the range of 40K, yet I only got snipes, even from the Queen. Granted, starting around 30K of DE, I had to keep the other 2 resources very low.

first choice to upgrade is mortars - wizard towers - air defense - archer towers** clan castle**and for elixer upgrade ur lab - barracks -dark barracks .tesla last thing to upgrade
this what i did im now upgrading my Town hall to level 9 after maxed th 8

Since you only have 3 builders:

• Dedicate one builder to your HT's now!!! They take forever... do not wait! Once there maxed - they rock.
• Dedicate another to your mortars and WT's.
• The third one should look at upgrading the CC (it's important for both defence and offence). Then start working on AD's and rax (both dark and regular)

Point defences are the very last thing you upgrade (cannons/AT's).

And this is kind of a biggie --> your lab never sleeps!!!! Upping your troops takes precedence over all else.

My advice, stay at silver 1-gold 1 range to farm. The dark elixir drill level 3 gives you a LOT, so level it up quickly. I'm pretty sure barch is the best farming attack to town hall 8, upgrade the barbs and archers, go for the collectors.

I'd change the southern gold storage for the wizard tower in construction for not to have in the same zone two storages. After that, and for not having two gold storage too near I'd change the gold storage in the middle, the air defense that is between the clan castle and the northern wizard tower and the northern wizard tower in the way:

gold storage to air defense place
air defense to wizard tower
wizard tower to gold storage.

For knowing what to upgrade you can check out the Clash of Clans Manager, it will recommend you what to upgrade and there is not need to register if you don't want to.

You have the Christmas Tree already!!!! Lucky guy!
