Best attack to gather regular elixer

Hi


I use balloon and minion mainly for my farming. It's great for gold and dark elixer but not so great for regular elixer. I am town hall 9 and got my defences up pretty good. What's the best attack that will gain me elixer? Btw I'm crystal 2 right now.

With the new elixir for walls update, you probably want to keep nexting until you find a collector base

Quickly gob that base and repeat

try using bam or barch ,both strategies dont cost much ,and try finding collectors bases
or try giant ,barbs,archers ,wb it costs more than barch n bam but its better to get to storages

I usually barch with 4 wall-breakers in case some collectors are behind walls I need to get at. Usually don't need them. But yea as he said look for collector bases in G1-2

If you want to keep looning, then your answer is in your question...you must search for bases that you can loot 200K or more in a raid.. it is the only way to sustain Loons IME, (especially if you use spells when you loon, which is almost a given) so since you have excess gold, then just be judicious with the next fee till you find that juicy target to pilfer some Elix from. that is the con of loons.. long time to cook, and long search times finding ideal targets.. (can be expensive gold wise) especially since the Wall update; Elix is not as easy to come by

Otherwise it is pretty much essential that you go BAM, Barch, or BAG (maybe a Giant based variant of those) and look for storages that are behind only one layer of walls. (and the rare collector base you can 50% for the win bonus too)however your winning percentage may go down, as those Tier one armies while cheap are now real powerful on some base layouts with deep storages

BAM with wbs.
I take about 25-30 minions, 6 wbs, rest is archer/barb split.
If you find a collector base, great, hit it.
The other 95% of the time, look for preemie bases (low level mortars and wizard towers), or bases with storages grouped together. Look for bases with air defenses in outer or second layer (so once they are cleared minions often get free reign inside). Send in a few barbs to check for bombs. Drop more barbs, a few archers, 1 or 2 wbs (to break an outer layer). Then drop lots more barbs and archers. Sprinkle in some minions, but not all at once - those air bombs spell disaster. Sprinkle in wall-breakers.
Save some heroes, rage, and jump spell for bases with a big score or to maintain trophies.
