The moderators see most ideas that get posted here i think - only choosing to comment on a select few. If there is a lot of support for an idea on the forums, they (may) present the idea to the developers. In theory.

But lets be honest - unless the developers are already working on your idea as we speak, you're unlikely to see any results from this thread reflected in the game before you retire from clash. Developers know best and they CERTAINLY take their time implementing ideas that we-the-players suggest. So I wouldn't hold your breath by any means.

I have long been a proponent of this basic concept. There is a link in my sig to the more robust system that I had envisioned which included this simple "dibs" concept as well as others. In the end I would be happy to see either.

I love this idea. The issue you described is a huge problem with the CW system and needs to be addressed. This is especially true when a few bases leave their air defense unprotected, and lots of players cook air-based armies, only to find those bases 3*ed by the time their army finishes cooking.

I wouldn't limit it to prep day either. Some players might target bases based on loot, but that doesn't really matter, because players can already attack bases for the loot. At least if they mark the base first, the leader or a co has a chance to tell them to pick a softer target.

+1 for dibs (not locked) - about 100 threads on it, but the core idea is def good and this op is nice and short

    Thumbs Up

I like the idea and it would make war communication a bit easier.

However it locking the base to other members is unfair to people in different time zones and would lead to arguments etc (some annoying new member decides to lock in for their number 1)

But it could be a great way to register interested in a base, so other clan members can chose to respect the choice and choose another base. A lot of members have good intentions but weren't online when someone else happened to write in chat which base they wanted to attack.

It could also be an option for the leader/co's to be able to say they disagree with a choice, perhaps giving a reason as well.

And of course its also useful for the players own personal reference. I often skim through and find a base I like, but 24 hours later I've forgotten the number and end up looking through again
