    It depends on whether I want to grind-like-crazy for another upgrade or I want to lay low & buy some time for me to farm & just casually play.
    CoC= Main: lvl 160~ (TH11); Alts: (TH10s/TH9s(lots!)/TH8s)
    HD=60~/11; BB=58~/HQ22; ClashRoyale=3 accts - Lvl 8/8/7~/Arena 6~7

    I am a th 8 and I think the upgrades are actually pretty good, I space out my builders so that I never have to wait more than a couple days to spend resources and start over again.

    Comes down to how quickly you can collect loot.

    If you are going to have a week or two of fewer raids - busy with work or on a holiday etc, then it is a perfect time for longer upgrades.

    I took a break for 3 months and come back about a month or so ago. First thing I did on return were Teslas, because they are lower cost / longer upgrades to ease myself back into it.
