If you really care about loot: stop sniping town halls

Snipers continuously snipe town halls which leads to more low level town hall players in higher leagues. Why is this a problem, the snipers will ask. Because this means we need to next through hundreds of bases that, because of the loot bonus and the fact that you don't even have much loot, give us next to no loot.

Snipers also give shields to farmers, which as we all know, means that less loot is available to raid.

I will give an extreme example: say there are three people playing in the whole of coc. One person is a sniper, and the other two are farmers.

One farmer has 400k/400k/3k available. But then he gets sniped by the sniper.

The other farm can only attack the sniper, who has no loot. This means that the 400/400/3 is hidden and not attainable. Think of these resources as a new resource: "Unobtainium" that is, it is not obtainable.

Farmers can also help by not putting their town halls out.

Why blame the snipers? They want the cups more often than not.....


Its the farmers putting their th outside --- perhaps if they stopped doing that for the cheap shield???



Its been going on for as long as I can recall (been playing a year)---- I doubt its the main cause of the recent "loot issues"....... You know - the one that happened after that elixir for walls update.......

If we lost the ability to get free shields by snipers, only the most active players would be able to maintain loot. Anyone that plays like i do, raid once an hour at most, if get wrecked everytime i logged off. I might be able to raid it right back, then get wrecked as soon as i log off.

Only players that that stay onlibe for hours at a time, avoiding attacks, would ever really be able to progress. T

This is half true half not, most people with loot are those who have th outside and those I'll never snipe without getting most loot that I can reach, tho I know there is probably 200 000 people leaving the game with 300k+ available gold and elixir and then getting sniper by some noob who can't get the loot but can get bonus and trophies which both prevent me and others who use loonion or other great storage farm troops from getting loot and also force us to next through low ths at higher leagues.

So the snipers basically both help us hide alot of bases with low loot but at the same time hide same amount of people who might have been the raid for us to get the last gold for that upgrade we wanted. So it's both sides on the whole thing but I'm quite sure that the trend of sniping which usually are people with barch or bam who continously press the next button until they find an outside th or a collector raid that are a main "issue" for others to very seldom find a good storage raid or collector raid. Just think about the time a sniper can put every day on continously pressing attack/next and never stop for bunch of hours and there isn't just one sniper out there but a whole lot of them

Anyway sniping isn't the only thing that force us to see a general 50k/50k available loot base and sniping is used only due to overflow of outside ths. But the loot in most found bases now a days is indeed bad I'd say and ofcourse some days are great for casual farm too but not often in my opinion. I do bloonion now and log in only when I have time and troops are done so Im not gonna complain tho as I only raid every now and then which also mean that I wouldn't ever earn more than I loose in defence as long as I don't only farm hero and walls if I didn't have th outside myself so, I guess we all can just sit down and do whatever we can for our own situations but the loot won't be better/worse other than if supercell changes stuff :!

if a th8 farmer puts their th inside their bases, with lots of resources, logs off and did not able to obtain shield from a th sniper. when a th9 and th10 looks for loots and sees that base, I'm pretty sure that th8 is going down. lol

The forum has such a small number of players on it nothing would actually change... well except since my TH is now inside other people will take my loot.

The fact is I don't really care about how others are finding loot. What I care about is MY loot. If a TH snipe helps me stay in my farming range, and someone taking my TH keeps my loot safe then I'm not going to stop either from happening.

Mum get the camera! who cares about snipers, SC will never change this. Plus I'd quit if I couldn't get a cheap shield when I have tonnes of loot.

Also, sniping town halls is the ONLY way to improve the overall economy

Example:
I snipe a town hall at crystal III with my BK
Economy changes:
Gain 35 000 gold
Gain 35 000 elixir
Gain 100 dark elixir
Lost ... nothing!
Traded 1 000 gold*
Traded 1 000 elixir*

Overall Change: Positive


I don't snipe a town hall and go for storages (I get at least 1 star)
Economic changes:
Gain 35 000 gold
Gain 35 000 elixir
Gain 100 dark elixir
Lost 0 gold
Lost ~120 000 elixir
Lost ~200 dark elixir
Traded ~200 000 gold*
Traded ~200 000 elixir*
Traded ~1 000 dark elixir*

Overall Change: Positive gold, negative everything else


*trading means that the loot gets transferred to the raided to the raider; no economic gain or loss



Thus,
keep on sniping, snipers!
and put your TH out

Please stop barching every one . I have my townhall in the middle and i want people to take my loot . But it's made impossible by people who constantly barch me and get 50% and not take any loot . I alway get a shield this way and i don't like it because i want loot in the system . Please nerf barch . M3 btw .
