How does a near max TH8 offense compare to early TH9 defense

I am a TH8 with nearly maxed troops. BK is lvl 9, minions are lvl 3, hogs are lvl 3 and valks are lvl 1. Remainder are maxed for TH8.

How does GOWIPE hold up against lvl 1 x-bows and lvl 3 AQ?

As a short answer, not too well. It is still very possible to 2-star an early town hall 9, but if it isn't a rushed town hall 9 you'll have some trouble with 100 extra damage per second shredding your troops as soon as you break into the base, not to mention the other extra defenses a town hall 9 gets.
