I need help levrling up my heroes im a new towm hall 8

My barbarian king is still lvl 1 and i cant find any good bases. im a lvl 60 town hall 8 in silver league. Should i try to fnd a better league?

My situation was similar to yours and I went up to Crystal III with BARCH and simply TH sniped. You will find TH9s and TH10s which have been abandoned and will have full DE drills, also you get a 100 DE bonus for each win. Max your drill and don't touch DE troops.

By farming a few hours a day I was able to have enough DE for the next BK upgrade before the previous one had even finished. My last piece advice is to do long farming sessions and to break your shield as least as possible because your base will be completely destroyed by th9s and 10s that are up here.

You have two options to earn fast dark elixir.I will describe as follows:-

1.Dark elixir drills:- You can hit inactives and raid their drills.Max de loot can go upto 3-4k.
The trophy range i suggest is 1750-1950.

2.Leagues:- The new update will give 100 at crystal 3,200 at crystal 2,300 at crystal 1 and so on.So,your main aim can be jumping leagues while getting bonus loot dark elixir.You wil need to farm border town halls to do that or 50% or wipe off the bases using loonatrix.

I think the best way is to go to cristal, then go down tout 1920/1950. Y ou have cristal league bonus + gold base. Zap in revenge. War is good top ( around 2500 de every war).

i have a max king at th8 when i was 3/4 the way done.. what i did was upgrade my de drill to max ASAP... i used my 4mill and the filles collectors' elixir to upgrade the de drill... I got it to lvl 3 in a week (had school and upgraded it in the morning and afternoon)... I just sat back and had a schedule of when to collect it.. morning before work/school, after work/school, before going to bed... This allowed me to get as much de as i could.. i never had a full de drill and still do not.

Crystal 3 if you can hold that level. Forget Purple elixir in Crystal as a TH8. So max the collectors and mines to have enough every beginning for raids. Max your DE drill asap and your DE storage should be at least holding 40k ( tougher to knock out).

Once you get past 10k stored, you'll start losing more than the drill makes...so raid 700 plus and hope your purple holds out. Expect to have to win 3 out of 4 raids to keep in Crystal. You'll be three starred a lot until you get the base defenses maxd. ( hint: start Teslas to level 6 now!) Snipe when you have the chance.
